By Jhon Martin

The actual Viking Capital, where today are presented the remains of their boats in the several galleries existing all over Copenhagen.

This is a human-sized city with a transportation program very organized and cozy, letting you connect with residents that have the good reputation for being a tiny extroverted but quite nice.

You can also borrow a bike that is the most typical way of transportation in the city having a lot of cycle routes in the primary avenues. You will not be amazed to see people attending college, occupation, and university using a bike. Actually nearly half of the urban communities are using this way of transportation each day.

In case you speak British, it'll be easy to communicate with the Danes, who are usually multilingual from youth.

It is inside the Old Harbor that you will see the renowned picture of Copenhagen's Small Mermaid, which demonstrates the potent impact from the city with the ocean.

Close by, you discover the Amalienborg Palace: the royal residence, within its center the famous fountain of Gefion.

If you opt to spend money, you will find at the North store the largest commercial center of the capital with a representation of all the principal stores around.

To the more adventurous, it is possible to go swimming in the water (a bit icy) from the 3 main beaches of Copenhagen which are only thirty minutes by cycle from town center.

At sunset, the city will be metamorphosed and animated, generally on week-ends from Thursday night time until beginning on Sunday early morning.

It will be easy to come from any major European cities via Copenhagen International Airport that is the most important in Scandinavia. You can get links to subway or train to bring you in less than a quarter-hour downtown.
