The Britax Frontier Booster Car Seat

By Linda Jenkins

The Britax Frontier has to be the easiest booster seat to install and uninstall. This is one of the reasons the Frontier is such a popular car seat. Britax says that a car seat that is easy to install is more likely to be installed correctly. A properly installed car seat is safer and will provide the child better protection. One way the booster seat is easier to install, is the color coded vehicle belt guide.

The Britax Frontier is designed specifically for children two years and up. The safety rating starts at 25 lbs and goes all the way to 100 lbs. Because of this design, the Britax Frontier is the last car seat a child will need. It will last until the child is big enough to use standard seat belts.

The Britax Frontier's popularity is built on the Britax reputation for building car seats that keep children safe and look good while doing it. Britax has earned this reputation because of a constant focus on safety features. Often times Britax safety features can be found on their car seats several years before they are required by federal standards. A few of these features would be the HUGS system, LATCH Connectors, and the Energy Absorbing Versa Tether.

The Britax Frontier has the HUGS system, which is a n enhancement to the strap harness. It increases the friction on the harness and improves the safety of the car seat even further.

Securing a car seat using traditional seat belts is troublesome. Done incorrectly, this approach allows any car seat to move wildly in case of an accident. The Premium LATCH Connectors secure directly to the car increasing stability and preventing side to side movement.

As children grow taller, car seats are more likely to tip or lean forward in an accident. To prevent this, Britax includes an energy absorbing versa tether with the Frontier and each of their car seats. This system latches directly to the car, preventing forward or tipping movements.

The multiple color choices and unique design makes the Britax Frontier an attractive car seat. However, after a few weeks of wear and tear from a confined toddler, any car seat will be covered with crumbs and other messes that can only come from a toddler. To keep this seat looking sharp, Britax included a key comfort feature for the parents, removable, machine washable car seat covers. The cover in the Britax Frontier pops off and can go right into the washer, keeping it as good as new.

Britax went out of their way to make the Britax Frontier the best booster seat on the market. Britax was one of the first companies to offer a booster seat for growing children. They continue to advance their Frontier line, to ensure that growing children have the same high level of comfort and safety found in the larger convertible car seats designed for infants. When children grow too big or become too cool to ride in a "baby" seat, the Britax Frontier is the natural choice for comfort and safety.

A Comfortable Long Flight

By Ada Ho

I have experienced many uncomfortable flights as i was a soldier stationed in Germany. It is a torture for me whenever I began my travels, no matter I was going home or to a deployment. In order to make myself to enjoy the flights instead of being afraid, I thought of some ways.

1. Bring a travel pillow with you. These pillows are for long trips only. They provide you a comfortable area to rest you head, which is difficult to find without these pillows.

2. To avoid getting motion sickness and to make sure you will have an enjoyable flight, you may get some Dramamine with recommended dosage before the flight. But don't forget to consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

3. Wearing loose non-restrictive clothing can make you feel more comfortable. And remember to bring something extra long to cover up with, as it will be cold for an aircraft at a high elevation.

4. You can bring along some snacks and extra cash for emergency purpose. You may need something suddenly and the flight attendant just may have what you are looking for.

5. As you may get bad breath or sweaty during the flight, bring your personal hygiene items along. With toothpaste, deodorant and baby powder, you can be refreshed easily in your long flight.

6. You may consider bringing your portable DVD player or laptop with you. You can watch movies, play games and do your work. Sometimes, the monitor on the plane is too far away and the movies that are showing may not be your appetite.

7. Take some extra cash with you if you are a drinker. Drinking your favorite liquor can help you sleep better. You could pay for a shot of alcohol with only a few dollars on most long flights.

Disney Grad Nite is a Memorable Graduation Celebration

By Julie Jones

Ever since 1961, high school graduates all over California have been attending Disney Grad Nite as a way to help them celebrate their graduations. It is a celebration that also happens in Disney World in Orlando, Florida, but Disneyland was the original. It has remained a great event for all high school seniors and their chaperons.

There are many celebrities that play on Grad Nite and give concerts. There are a lot of fun things to do during the event and a lot of live music with some surprise celebrities showing up time to time. It is amazing.

Because there are so many celebrities that perform on Grad Nite, this night is unforgettable. Many celebrities show up unannounced, so you never know who you are going to see while you are there. It is a lot of fun for the seniors.

While Grad Nite doesn't officially kick off until 11pm, they came up with Blast Off, which is in California Adventure a few hours before Disneyland opens. It normally starts at 9pm and goes until midnight. California Adventure also has some really cool things for the graduates.

There is one restaurant open where the students can redeem their food vouchers. All students will receive one voucher for California Adventure. Graduates can choose from a cheeseburger or chicken salad with french fries and drink. It is a good idea to have the students eat here first.

Grad Nite in Disneyland starts at 10:30pm with a dance floor in front of the castle and Main Street being open. The rest of the park opens at 11:30pm after the fireworks. Most attractions are open- some are actually closed due to their being less popular. This goes until 6am. No one is allowed to leave the park until 5am unless there is an emergency.

The park has fun decorations everywhere. There are even booths that are sponsored by different companies. The parade is also fun to watch. The theme of the parade is the top forty songs of that year. Most areas also have special lighting that is impressive.

With four dance floors, your graduates will have a great time dancing and listening to celebrity acts all over the park. The stage that is right in front of the castle features KIIS FM and they offer great music, strobe lights and fun images that are projected onto the front of the castle.

Each school that participates needs to have a certain number of chaperons, depending the the total students that they have attending. Disney treats chaperons with great treatment, though. There is a chaperon's headquarters where they can snack, watch TV and even get massages. The chaperons are responsible for the behavior of their students and if anything comes up with the graduates they must attend to it. They actually have a big job.

Disney Grad Nite is a great time for graduates to spend with their high school friends. It helps to create memories that will last a lifetime. Not only that but the chaperons normally have a great time, too.

Bhutan Was Made for the Gay Traveler

By Howie Holben

The nation of Bhutan is a tiny Buddhist kingdom tucked into the remote Himalayas between India and Tibet. Here, visitors will discover a rich way of life that has only recently begun to be exposed to modern mindsets and Western culture. This devoutly Buddhist country is home to a distinct culture that is based on age-old Buddhist beliefs and practices and maintains a solid footing in tradition. The government of Bhutan monitors tourism closely as national leaders work hard to protect the cultural heritage and pristine natural beauty of Bhutan, balanced with allowing the adoption of modern technologies and conveniences to enhance the lives of the Bhutanese people.

However, while Bhutanese culture may be traditional and conservative in many ways, the people of Bhutan warmly welcome tourists on gay vacations, or visiting as part of a planned gay travel tour, just as they do any other guest. The number of tour groups and tourists allowed to enter Bhutan each year is restricted by the government as part of an overall effort to preserve the cultural heritage and breathtaking natural beauty of this long-isolated country, so those who have the opportunity to venture into this mystical land as part of an organized tour group should take advantage of the chance to experience all that Bhutan has to offer.

The LGBT scene in Bhutan is non-existent, meaning that anyone planning a gay vacation to this remote mountain kingdom would certainly not be doing so in hopes of meeting up with a visible community or experiencing an established LGBT culture in this tiny Asian country. This, of course, does not mean that there is no same-gender intimacy in Bhutan; rather, it is a common and accepted part of the culture.

Most of these men are either married to women or are monastic monks and these behaviors are not considered taboo, and do not influence how one identifies. In fact, there are no words to describe sexual orientation in this regions language; sexual expression is simply part of everyday life. A law from over 100 years ago is still on the books that criminalizes same-sex sexual behavior and allows for punishments that include life imprisonment; however, there are no indications that this law has ever been enforced.

Choosing gay vacations to Bhutan opens visitors up to a chance to fully experience a culture that has been isolated from the outside world until just three decades ago. From hiking in the majestic Himalayas to visiting mountainside Buddhist monasteries and exploring the valleys below, Bhutan is an ideal atmosphere for a spiritual renewal or awakening.

To fully enjoy all that Bhutan offers, it is recommended that you plan your gay holidays or vacations to this majestic land through very well. This will help to ensure that you are given the opportunity to discover the beauty and spirituality of this magnificent country, while respecting Bhutans natural and cultural richness.

Different Vacations In Scotland

By Andrew Kelly

Scotland offers the most glorious countryside to be found in the United Kingdom making it the greatest holiday destination. Countless numbers of tourists opt for Edinburgh as their main destination, whereas others choose something a bit different. The following takes a look at Scottish vacations and a variety of things to do while in Scotland. The article also looks at the Wickerman Festival.

With such an immensely diverse countryside the selection of things to do is endless. Mountain climbing is highly popular, as are mountain biking vacations. The most common holidays are fishing or golf. With the country of Scotland being the home of golfing it should not be surprising that you are hardly ever too distant from a minimum of one world class golf course. With the River Tay and the River Spey you can almost be certain of a superb day fishing. But what if you want something a little different?

Increasing numbers of families are making music festivals their yearly vacation. Although nearly all music festivals are huge with the main aim of making money, there are a small selection of family orientated music festival, for example the Wickerman Festival and Tartan Heart.

The Wickerman Festival is an annual music and arts festival is held on a farm close to Dundrennan in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway approximately 5 miles away from the Scottish town of Kirkcudbright. The festival celebrates the cult British film "The Wicker Man which features appearances by Edward Woodward, Sir Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Ingrid Pitt and Diane Cilento.

The very first festival took place in 2002 and was organized by Sid Ambrose, a local guy. With little experience of arranging a music festival it is a surprise that it still exists today, especially when you consider the current economic climate. The festival has changed each year and, like the film, has a cult following.

The festival is hugely family friendly it has a great many activities for children including, a mountain biking trek, numerous fairground rides, face painting and various workshops. This can be easily proven by simply searching for Wickerman Festival 2009 photographs or simply pop along to the official Wickerman Festival Gallery.

Close to the site of the festival is the village of Kirkudbright where you will find many of the locations used in the film for example Harbour Cottage (the bakery) and High Street Gallery which was used for May Morrison's post office and sweetshop. You will find that there are a great many places of interest in Dumfries and Galloway and it is really worth taking a short break here so that you may visit all of the visitor attractions. Common destinations in which to stay include Castle Douglas and Dumfries. Bed and breakfast accommodation in Scotland is always excellent and is also very affordable and far less expensive than staying in a hotel.

This time away is very important to both our physical and mental health. There are many different types of vacations that one can take in order to fill these needs.

You can vacation alone, with friends or family, or you can travel with a group. You can also choose to travel with a group of people that have similar backgrounds and interests. Spiritual gay vacations and travel is one choice for gay people.

Being gay, we all have at least one thing in common. Vacationing with others that have had similar experiences in life can add to our time away. This commonality helps to form bonds within the group.

People that were at first strangers, become friends quickly and easily. This is one reason gay vacations are great way to travel. Knowing that we are understood by those around us adds an immediate sense of comfort to the group.

This understanding helps us to relax and open ourselves up and allows us to be a little more vulnerable. When we're relaxed and open, we're able to go a little deeper into the vacation experience. This allows us recover from life's stresses more quickly and more fully.

Taking it to an even deeper level, we can take gay vacations with people of similar intentions. Travelling with men and women that want to grow spiritually is one way to do this. Then not only do we share our gayness, we share goals for the vacation.

Visiting sacred sites all over the world combined with a desire to grow spiritually can open doors never before seen. With other group members helping us, we can face old fears and become a little freer. And isn't feeling freer the main goal of a vacation?

Planning Gay Tours to Morocco

By Howie Holben

Morocco is a popular tourist destination in northwestern Africa and is a land of rich history, deeply entrenched culture, legend and myth. Well-known as a setting for books, play and movies, this desert nation offers visitors the opportunity to explore ancient ruins, traipse across the desert on a camel, stay in a hotel made of sand and bargain with insistent rug and spice traders in old-world open air marketplaces. In many cities and towns traditional homes have been converted into guest lodgings, called riads, which often provide for a more welcoming environment for folks on a gay vacation and allow visitors to experience Moroccan life and culture up close. Morocco is a conservative Muslim country and has no scene to speak of; however other reasons to include this exotic land in your gay travel plans are abundant, including beautiful beaches, exceptional architecture, expansive desert landscapes and the chance to meander through souks (markets) that twist and turn through narrow village streets.

Morocco is a land of legends and myths, steeped in rich history and culture, where travelers can stay in a hotel made of sand, trek across the desert on camels and bargain with spice and rug traders in old-world marketplaces. In many places homes have been converted into hotels, called riads, that are sometimes more welcoming for visitors on a gay vacation and offer visitors the opportunity to experience the life and culture of Morocco more closely. There is no definable scene in Morocco, which is a conservative Muslim country; however there are many reasons to include Morocco in your travel, including pristine beaches, ancient ruins, enticing souks (markets) that wind through narrow streets offering a variety of wares, vast desert landscapes and amazing architecture.

Jet set European and American composers, writers and socialites once flocked to Morocco in droves, making it a well-known, popular vacation destination; however, while Morocco was once a welcoming playground for gay vacations, a push by Muslim leaders to return to the stricter moral code of Islam has negatively influenced this once liberal vacation spot. While rarely enforced, same-sex conduct was criminalized in 1962 and travelers on a vacation to Morocco should keep in mind that it is a criminal offence punishable by up to three years in prison and fines.

The government released a statement in early 2009 stating that homosexuality would not be tolerated and that increased efforts to repress same-sex conduct would be established. This may mean increased enforcement of this 1962 law. This is not uncommon in primarily Muslim countries and does not mean that Morocco should be avoided when planning travel.

However it does mean that caution and discretion are advised while visiting this conservative country and that travelers may want to consider visiting Morocco as part of an organized gay travel group or working with a gay travel agency that is knowledgeable about the safest locations and lodgings for Morocco vacations.

The Best Hotels In Havana

By Jose Garces

Old Havana Hotels out of all hotels in Havana are by far the favourite hotels for the European market. They are old-recently refurbished palaces with only few dozens of rooms. This characteristic together with their location places these hotels at the very top of the list of best hotels in Havana.

Among those eye-catching hotels, Hotel Florida - one of Havana's most remarkable properties - stands out for being one of the first hotels ever built in Havana after Cuba?s tourist industry started developing in the early 1990's.

With only 37 rooms The Florida Hotel is a top popular hotel among European tourists who enjoy a touch of grandness and history. Its Courtyard, restaurant and Piano bar are one of the most striking features of this Palace.

This hotel is also a favourite place for businessmen meetings, wine tasting, and presentations of products. It is remarkable its stained-glass window at the upper part, second in size because the largest one decorates the ceiling of the hotel's main staircase.

It seems a little hard to imagine that Obispo Street, one of Havana's most crowded pedestrian ways, is located just some steps away, as well as the Plaza de Armas, place of foundation of Havana in November 16th, 1519.

This magnificent palace became home to some important economic institutions in the early 50?s. After the triumph of the revolution in 1959 it was nationalized and through almost 40 years of constant deterioration the Cuban government decided to refurbish the building and transform it into one of the best hotels in Havana.

Top Destinations For Your Vacation

By Katie Cheung

Heavy burdens are accumulating stress for you, it's time to relax and travel! Why not search for a fantastic and enjoyable place for a relaxing holiday? Get off from your busy life and stress, do whatever you want in a delighting place.

Time is very limited for a relaxing trip in our busy life. So where should we go when we have time to travel? You should make a very good list of must-go places as time is so limited. For me, I have five must-go items in my list.

Kenya is one of them. It is very spacious. The panoramic view of the Kenya Mountain attracts visitors from the whole world. The hillside is emerald and it has a silvery white summit. Kenya also has the most animal-concentrated habitat in Africa. During the travel, you would enjoy the silent and relaxing environment there.

Travelling in Maldives can surely help you relax. The harmonious view there is composed by the limpidity of water and the serenity of the island. The sky and the sea simply fused together! This makes you feel like in paradise. You can enjoy whatever water sports there, swimming with baby sharks, diving, fishing...Just don't miss anything!

Visitors always hear the locals in the Kingdom of Tonga in Oceania greet them with a cordial tone. The locals there boost up the passion of every visitor with their passionate character and hospitability. The area is least polluted among places in the world. The Tongans work when the sun rises and rest when the sun sets. It is their relaxing way of life and the bravo view here which attracts travellers.

When we were kids, we often dream to be the characters in fairy tales and live in castles like Snow White and the princes. In Fussen of Germany, there is a castle called Neuschwanstein Castle which will surely make you feel amazed. It is the most beautiful castle in Europe. Travelling and walking in the Castle, you will find your dream comes true!

Iceland does not look like what people think of it, it is not chilly, lonely nor isolated. The active volcanoes there will naturally make you feel 'hot' as you will feel exciting visiting Iceland, so as the springs there. The seafood there is incredible! You will surely forget your burdens and enjoy your life during the travel there!

You can just gain energy by giving yourself a real relaxing holiday. To refresh yourself from the tense and boring life, plan your next holiday travel, think over about your life plans, and re-gain energy for you to walk further with brighter days!

Visit Bandos Island Resort in the Maldives for the most romantic holiday

By James Harvey

The Maldives coral island atolls are located in the tropics, are influenced by monsoons but enjoy a lovely sunny climate and are warm all year round.

The islands of the Maldives host some of the most diverse marine life to be seen on our planet, and it is therefore no wonder that they have become a center of excellence for snorkeling and diving alike.

Resorts such as Bandos and Filitheyo island offer diving for all abilities and snorkeling trips are scheduled on a daily basis from the diving center to the many surrounding reefs.

The beaches on most Maldives islands are some of the most amazing in the world. At the Filitheyo island resort for example, the superb beaches are unbroken on each side of the island offering great walks and views and furthermore these beaches are definately not crowded.

What is amazing about many resorts is that they have been developed with a contemporary style without compromising any of their natural beauty and tranquil charm. You will find that reception areas are generally complete with modern conveniences such as internet hotspots, but the tropical beauty of the islands are unspoilt, with tranquil accommodation and private beach areas shaded by ubiquitous tall palms and other indigenous vegetation.

Many resorts, such as Filitheyo have water villas or water bungalows and these are generally the most expensive but most luxurious accomodation and the snorkeling is always just a few steps away. At Filitheyo, the villas are very nice and comfortable but are open on each side to their neighbors so visitors who want more privacy may be better suited in either a superior or deluxe room. Some guests will arrange to split their holiday between different room types to vary the experience, check with your agent to see if this is possible before booking your trip.

If you are planning on getting married during your holiday to the Maldives then many resorts offer special wedding plans that can be arranged in advance. At Bandos for example, the resort accomodates visitors getting married with the "Kuda Bandos Sunset Wedding" which features a taste of traditional island ceremony with cultural costumes, Maldivian drums and a private cruise for the newlyweds on a Dhoni (Maldivian boat).

More Bali Hotels

By Richard Hill

Taking time to describe the types of hotels and villas in Bali would take forever ; there are so many different types of Bali accommodation to suite everyone. Over the last few decades, Bali has become a highly favored tourist destination, not only because of the beaches and leisure activities available but because of the Balinese folk themselves. They're definitely the most accommodating hosts to be found anywhere in the world.

With the development of the tourist industry over the last 20 or 30 years there are specific areas that have become the heart of traveler activity. These places have become extraordinarily crowded particularly during the top holiday season, from Apr to Sept. Although the island is fairly small there's so much undiscovered country that you are now finding More Bali Hotels springing up in more secluded areas, not only in the interior of the island, but surrounding it. All around Bali are little islands that are being developed to give visitors the possibility of being in a position to stay all alone piece of paradise for the length of their holiday.

Staying on one of these isolated islands is great for honeymooners or tourists who just want to enjoy a family vacation without the hustle and bustle of the bars, clubs and other nightlife that is very much a part of the preferred tourist areas. To get to mainland Bali from the majority of these islands is only a short boat trip.

The southern part of Bali is pretty much full of holiday maker resorts and as such the Balinese state has started to develop the northern part that will give easier access to the more mountainous areas of central Bali. Apart from the new hotels that are being built, construction is under way on a new airport.

Most are calling it the New Bali International Airport, but its official name is the Jembrana City International Airport. The completion date is going to be in 2012 and this airport will replace Ngurah Rai International as the new international arrival and exit point. This has become necessary as the area surrounding Ngurah Rai is absolutely developed and with the rise in the tourism industry Ngurah Rai won't be able to cope with the amount of air traffic in the future and there's no more room for growth in the area.

The existing hotels and resorts will shortly only be a small part of all the available places to stay. It seems like Bali is about to become a popular traveler destination for generations to come. There is no wonder the tourist industry is growing at such a rapid pace in Bali, the leisure facilities are out of this world. Bali packages for holidays, weddings, adventure are so varied that it would most likely take a life-time to explore them all. Although there is so much development going on, the Balinese state goes to great lengths to ensure that the beauty and fairy tale atmosphere is protected ; after all it is for the natural beauty that most people come to Bali for.

Planning Your Holidays to Cuba.

By Jose Garces

At this phase you might have already determined that Cuba is the country that you want to visit for your next vacation but perhaps need some assistance on the booking side of it . I know this could sound a bit too trivial but you should know few important things in order to get the best deal for your holidays in Cuba.

The fact that Cuba is such a delightful and ever more popular destination, presents travel agents with a real problem . Cuba is definitely not a last minute destination , in particular if you are travelling in the high season.

The peak or high season in Cuba falls within the months of July and August, the Easter period, Christmas and New year's eve . November, December, January, February and March are awfully well-liked months particularly for travellers from Europe in search of a warm country to avoid few days of miserable weather.

Quite regularly I get customers requesting me to arrange a package holiday for them in these particular periods, and every so often the phone call comes to close to the departure date . It is extremely frustrating for me and ultimately the client. For one pure reason, I just can not recommend holiday worth it because all the popular areas and best hotels are completely booked, and then I am left with the only honest answer I can give. "I am truthfully sorry but at this point there is nothing available that I feel comfortable recommending "

If you intend to book something straightforward and simple like a week or two in a beach resort there are more chances of getting a good hotel available . The difficulty presents it self when clients are interested in combining areas like Havana, Viales Valley, Las Terrazas, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and or Santiago de Cuba. Areas like these with the exception of Havana are very difficult when it comes to hotel availabilities.

If you are looking to arrange a tailor made holiday to Cuba in a popular season my suggestion to you is to start with the arrangements at least 4 months prior to departure in order to secure not only the rooms in your preferred hotels but also the best tariffs from the carriers . If you however did not find this piece of writing before and are planning a last minute tailor made holiday , chances are something will be found for you but certainly the odds of getting the best hotels are not bright

In the case of low season months is trouble-free to find availabilities and good deals in terms of fares and it really does not matter much when you call. We are very confident to be able to match you exact holiday requirements.

I truly hope you find some good tips in this article and sincerely wish you a fantastic time in Cuba.

You can have everything you want with a different Caribbean island every day and all the wonderful evening entertainment of a resort on board the cruise liner. While short breaks are available, perhaps over a weekend period, the vast majority of passengers sail for seven days and sometimes in excess of fourteen but depends on how much you are willing to spend.

While this type of vacation has become widespread each vacationer has diverse needs so there are many different packages available as it is a time for unwinding, enjoyment and revitalization. You can guarantee the cruise liner company will have a package custom made to suit your needs as it is their job to ensure you have the best vacation ever.

Planning is the key to vacationing and with the number of packages now available it will be well worth your time to have a chat with your tour operator's agent. Almost every Caribbean island will receive cruise liner guests but they can't call on every one each trip as it would take to long so you need to look for a package that will call at the islands you want.

Many cruise vacations cater more for adults and the activities include discos, late night entertainment, casinos and shows with daytime events to challenge those with an excess of energy. Some Caribbean cruise liner companies actually produce virtual tours and other information on DVD's which can be collected from your travel agent or ordered online.

Besides the usual, you need to pack suitable attire for many occasions like formal evening wear as well as beach, deck and other casual wear. These are ideal opportunities to dress up which many of us do not get the chance to do these days so the ladies will want at least two evening gowns and the men will require a tuxedo.

There are also plenty of activities if you take your children along on a cruise vacation and they will probably burn off all their energy by the time the evening has ended. A wide variety of activities are planned for them so that you can spend the time to do what you like; trained staff will look after them so you can put your mind at ease while you are enjoying and relaxing with your spouse.

Couples can take a romantic Caribbean cruise vacation and you will have the holiday you look forward to on a vacation vessel that is for adults only. Special occasions can be made very special on board a cruise liner whether it is for an anniversary or a honeymoon, various packages and upgrades can be arranged.

The whole idea of a Caribbean cruise vacation is that you enjoy yourself and just let go for however long you are on board because it may be some time before you go again!

Ambos Mundos Hotel In Havana

By Jose Maurette Garces

The eclectic styled Hotel Ambos Mundos opened its doors in the late 1920's and since then has become an intimate and cosy landmark that stands out amongst all Havana Hotels due to its history. In the early 1930's, the American writer, Ernest Hemingway, dwelled in the room 511 in this hotel, he wrote the first draft of For whom the bell tolls since he found the hotel "a good place to write".

The four-star hotel has 52 rooms (six floors) including 3 are mini-suites. This hotel from the Cuban capital city is managed by Habaguanex Company S.A., responsible for the historic-cultural tourism in the Old Town.

One of the best features of this hotel is the Del Monte Saloon. This spacious place can be divided, according to necessities, into two acoustically independent rooms. Its all-round characteristic is easy to see with the use of its own furnishings for banquettes, business meetings or plenary sessions.

Also paintings of Yanes, Casiguaya and other painters that illustrate the connection between culture and tourism are shown in Ambos Mundos Saloons, something very valuable in order to enjoy the real cultural Cuban spirit during your holidays.

Perhaps one of its best attributes is its roof terrace overlooking the skyline of Havana's Old Town most impressive architecture as well as the channel leading to Havana's bay, Plaza de Armas Square and some of the oldest fortresses in Cuba.

If you are looking for a good hotel in Havana with small yet very comfortable and airy rooms; whose rates are not too expensive then I strongly recommend the Ambos Mundos Hotel. Its location, service and rooms put Ambos Mundos Hotel at the top of the list of the best hotels in Havana. The fact that the American writer Ernest Hemingway stayed in this hotel over 2 years also make it very appealing to travellers.

The White Desert, a Wonder of Egypt Experience Bedoin Culture in the White Desert

By Deb Corbeil

The Pyramids of Giza, The Luxor Temple, Abu Simbel and the Valley of the Kings, all of these attractions are at the top of everyone's must see list in Egypt, but very few manage to find the time to hop in a 4X4 jeep and discover the remote destination of The White Desert. For one thing a trip to the center of the country must be far too expensive, time consuming and difficult to plan.

A 3-day trip from the Dahab Hostel in Downtown Cairo can be booked for a bargain price of 450e ($80) per person for 2 nights and 3 days. The trip includes all meals and transfers a visit to the hot springs, a 4X4 ride in the sand dunes that you won't soon forget and an extraordinary night camping Bedouin style in the White Desert.

It is only a 5-hour bus trip from Cairo to Bahariya. You will be met by your organizer who will pick you up letting you relax and ignore the touts that wait at the station. It is not off to the desert yet, time to go back to your hotel where you will eat some lunch before the long journey ahead.

Make sure to fill up on the delicious rice and potato meal with pita followed by delicious sweet desert, it will be a while until you eat again. Don't take to long though, because it is time to be whisked away to explore the incredible scenery of the Black and White Desert.

It may sound a bit touristy, but you will be offered to buy a scarf before you leave. It is highly recommended that you buy one as they make a great souvenir, but because they are also very practical to keep the sand out of your eyes and to keep the heat in your head at night. The temperature drops greatly in the desert.

You are now ready for the excitement to begin. Hop in the back of a jeep and you are in for a bumpy ride. This portion of the desert is amazing, not only will you witness the vast dunes of the Sahara but soon the desert turns black before your eyes. This phenomenon is cause by tiny particles blowing in from the mountain and forming a film atop the sand. Amazing.

Making sure to keep with the feeling that you are truly traveling off of the beaten path, you will pass through a couple of security check points with armed guards and road blocks. The thrill is worth it because the instant you are allowed through check point number two, the terrain instantly turns to a white landscape that looked as if a blanket of snow has just fallen on the ground.

Words can not do justice to the giant white formations that stand magestically in the middle of this barren land. You will be camping right in the middle of pure chalky white sand structures shaped as mushrooms, birds, and camels. It feels as if you are standing on another planet. Formed by mother nature through erosion, these chalk rocks are solid enough to walk upon.

As you explore the land, true Bedouins set up your camp. It feels as if you have stepped back in time as they set up colorful thick blankets to be used as walls. The front of the camp is left open to the fire and the three walls remain roofless leaving you a view of the clear desert sky.

Day two starts with a hearty breakfast and then it is back to Bahariya for an unforgettable 4X4 adventure through steep dunes. The ride is long and full of excitement as people are tossed about hitting heads on the roof, but laughing through the entire drive. The hot springs are a welcome change to the high-energy thrill ride. The day ends with a hike up to a high plateau for one final look at the desert landscape and to take in that final view of the mythical Sahara Desert.

Go ahead and see all of the amazing monuments that Egypt has to offer. They are ancient, incredible sights, but make sure to take the time to head out to the white desert to witness one of the most spectacular landscapes on the planet.

Costa Rica's Thrilling Canopy Tours

By Toni W. Montana

Costa Rica canopy tours are becoming increasingly popular to many more tourists visiting Costa Rica each year. Tourists ageing in range from ninety years old to as young as six years old can experience this thrill of a lifetime. Do not leave Costa Rica wishing you had taken the chance to experience this incredible thrill.

If you are looking for extreme Costa Rica canopy adventure, there are many companies and locations to choose from. This will not only be a memorable experience, it will likely be something you want to do again. The incredible rush you feel traveling across the tree tops, a hundred plus feet off the ground, attached to a cable in a harness is an adrenaline rush of a lifetime.

Depending on what your extreme adventure idea is, you can bet that you will find it on a canopy tour. With a range of activities outlined along the way, you get to choose what works best for your perfect adrenaline rush! Choose your tour operator according to your "extreme", or not, desire.

When you think of canopy tours what do you think of? Well, the canopy is a sequence of cables that are tactically constructed in various locations throughout the forest. You are harnessed to these cables with a pulley and sent zipping over the tops of the trees to platforms that await you. Each platform has a guide to assist you with the connection and send you off to the next platform.

There is an age and weight restrictions but I have never heard of anyone being turned away because of weight. The youngest that I know that has enjoyed this adventure was six years old. However, all companies have varying policies so it's best to ask prior to booking your tour.

There are canopy tours located in Herradura next to Jaco on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica and offers breathtaking views of the gulf of Nicoya and the Pacific Ocean. Prices are comparable among all the operators, starting around $40.00 per person for adults.

Between Ocotal beach and Flamingo, there is a great tour company called Congo Trail Canopy Tour. If it is eco-friendly tours you are looking for there is a theme park oriented tour that offers first-class day adventures to the rain forest. There are tours that are more famous like the rain forest aerial tram, Tropical Park or horseback riding tours and many more.

If it's just a quiet laid-back walk you are looking for then you have to experience either the Monteverde or Santa Elena Reserve. Taking a nice walk on one of the few suspension bridges to get a view from above the trees of the forest bottom is spectacular! There are many spectacular sights to be seen from these incredible heights.

When traveling to Costa Rica, remember that it's a country close to the equator. Remember to bring plenty of sunscreen, as well as insect repellent. Plan ahead and enjoy the vacation of a lifetime, beyond a doubt, a trip you will never forget.

Hotels in Nusa Dua

By Barry Greenfields

Nusa Dua is a Bali resort targeting the more rich travelers and therefore the types of Nusa Dua Hotels are varied in this exclusive area and are way more up market and costly so you will not find much within the budget type of place to stay. Although the prices are way higher you should expect the same value that is common all around Bali and compared to other resorts around the planet, Bali is outstanding when it comes to services and quality for your cash.

When looking for some Bali accommodation in Nusa Dua you'll be beginning off in the mid range of rates and then going up to the 5 star accommodations that's expected from an elite holiday maker resort. The mid range of accommodation will provide you with everything that's wanted to be snug and some extras. All rooms would be air conditioned, have 24 hour room service and in house comforts like cafes, bars and some shops which will sell basic haves and visitor mementos.

At the most southern end of Bali where it tapers off into a peninsula, this is where you will find Nusa Dua. The white wonderful beaches stretch all along the coast and getting there's an easy 15 minutes drive from Bali International Airport. Nusa Dua competes with some other areas in Bali for being the most prestigious holiday resort in Bali. The wonderful international hotels make it a preferred destination for the more higher class tourist. This area has been very well developed and provides you with modern roads, and beautiful gardens that are very well maintained. There isn't any highway through Nusa Dua and as a consequence it is a very quiet place to visit without the stupendously crowded beaches that you're going to find in the more budget oriented resorts and spots.

Activities include many water sports that you can choose to partake in, many of these are arranged by the hotel you are living in and keep the volume of tourists down by making them a personalized service. The diving in Nusa Dua is superb as the lagoon is protected and there are no huge waves. The water is a lot hotter here and so the sea life is abundant and well worth taking a look at. Diving lessons are available, or you can just do some snorkeling and get the same incredible experience if you're a bit wary about scuba diving. You can ask at the hotel you are staying in about the Bali tours available that will give you a private service.

If the tide is low there are 2 little islands that you can walk to or rent a boat. These aren't populated and you can be lucky enough to have an island all to oneself for a day. Just be cautious if you're walking there that you do not get marooned by the incoming tide, the hotel will be ready to advise you on the tides.

For the more leisure conscious traveler, there is masses of shopping areas to browse through; Nusa Dua is famous for its exquisite shops and shopping facilities. Bali shopping areas are definitely worth visiting as you can pick up some incredible bargains. The nightlife here is also much different to the more common resorts and tends to have more class and sophistication with amazing eateries, bars and clubs.

Being this is one of the hottest and up market resorts in Bali, it is crucial that you book your hotel or visa in advance. Going to Bali with the aim of staying here and finding the hotels are totally booked will be very upsetting to say the least. Nusa Dua hotels generally all offer air con, but just ask to make sure, there is not much worse than the humidity at night if you are not accustomed to it.

If taking a day trip to explore the island it is a good idea to bear a couple of things in mind. The more rural areas aren't as accommodating when it comes to bathrooms, you'll stumble on some real horrors. Always carry a toilet paper with you as few rural toilets will supply any or hand soap, so take some of that with you as well .

There are thousands of temples that are dotted all over the island and a trip to Bali without visiting one wouldn't be a complete trip to Bali. You would be missing out on an insight into the culture and architecture of an incredible nation. You will be required to wear a sarong when entering the temples and though they do offer them for rent at every temple ; it is way easier to take your own therefore avoiding having to queue up particularly if there is a huge tour group.

Getting People To Buy Right Now!

By Jared Wingerson

And Lastly, people don't buy when they feel there's No Reason to Buy Right NOW When your car breaks down, you need to get it fixed right away. You have to get to work. When your roof leaks, you can't wait. But chances are, for the products and services you sell, your prospect can buy it today, next week, or maybe they can struggle and get by without it for even longer.

But if your bill collectors are like mine, they aren't as patient. You've got expenses you need to pay now. You'd like to grow your business now. To make this happen, you've got to get the sale now.

So how do you get prospects off the fence? Simple. Give them a better offer, one they can only get if they order now. Travel incentives are the perfect solution. Prospects take action when they want something, when their desire to enjoy the benefits of your product outweighs their desire for the money it costs. Desire is emotional, and few things stir emotion like travel can.

Paint this picture in the minds of your prospects: You stroll down a tropical white sand beach, waves rolling in. Gulls soar overhead. Brilliant sun sparkles off the breakers as they rush in. You wiggle your toes in the sand. You hear the happy sounds of children playing. Now think about the feelings you just felt. Do you think throwing in that trip will make your product easier to sell? Dangle that trip in front of your prospects, those you just can't seem to close the sale on. You'll be blown away by how much easier it is to get fence-sitters not only to buy, but to buy NOW. The salespeople you have now will close more often, with fewer follow up meetings. All without expensive sales force training or breaking the bank hiring more salespeople.

Making your product easy to sell is just one of the benefits travel incentives can offer you. Read below and you'll learn how to incent your salespeople and other employees with a trip, a cruise, or dining out. And you'll also see how offering these incentives will turn one-time buyers into long-term loyal customers.

Give us a chance to show how travel incentives grow your business, help you keep the customers you have, and make your employees happier and more productive. And lastly, we'll show you how affordable these incentives are. We can work with you to fit pretty much any budget.
