Take Your Family to Benidorm for a Great Family Vacation

By David Henry

Benidorm, a large Valencian city on the Western Mediterranean sea has become a massive tourist spot since the 1960s and has been designed with entertainment and relaxation in mind. Temperatures range from 15 to 32 degrees centigrade, and the area is mostly protected from violent weather by the mountain ranges surrounding it, making it an almost pocketed paradise. Theres an incredible array of hotels in Benidorm to choose from. Benidorm hotels run from the simple budget variety that are suitable for those who need little more than a place to change their clothes between beach activities and bar hopping, to the kind of hotels that offer spa treatments and other luxuries. There are also hotels in Benidorm that are especially great for anyone who is a golfing enthusiast.

Hotels in Benidorm suit every kind of budget. If youre looking for Benidorm hotels that will keep you in the lap of luxury with private balconies, Jacuzzis, and spa treatments on call, theyre here. Youll find hotels in Benidorm to cater for your every whim. On the other hand if youre backpacking your way around Europe on a shoestring, there are basic hotels in Benidorm to suit your needs too. Take your time to look through the available Benidorm hotels for your time period and choose the one that offers you the most for the budget you have available.

Benidorm has a wide range of activities for everyone and most of them are reasonably priced, despite having a reputation of being a great tourist based city. One thing you should consider however is that its rarely quiet, so if you prefer your holidays peaceful, Benidorm probably isnt the ideal holiday destination for you.

Despite being a long-established tourist destination Benidorm has managed to stay relatively unspoilt. The city is lively so if you want tranquillity this isnt the ideal place for you. On the other hand if you want sun, sea and sightseeing, Benidorm is a great choice.

Some of the Benidorm hotels are theme parks within a resort environment. One of these Terra Mitcha offers Alton Towers/Thorpe Park type rides to visitors. If youre travelling with kids in the pre-teen+ age ground this may be a good place to visit. There are rides to keep the thrill-seekers happy, but there are also less wild rides so everyone can have a great time. If your family is into rollercoasters Terra Mitcha boasts, among others, Europes longest wooden rollercoaster.

Families with younger children may prefer Terra Natura which is more focused on animals than thrills. This is a zoo with a twist " there are no natural barriers " and each animal is kept in a natural environment. The sights, smells and sounds of this park will delight anyone with an interest in animals. If looking at the zoo has made you hot, then the water theme park Aqualandia is a great way to cool off. Theres over 20 rides for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Many high profile DJs visit Benidorm to play sets during high season. Whether you prefer bar hopping or nightclubbing you are sure to find somewhere to get your groove on. The party atmosphere at night cant be beat!

With a great range of things to do, places to stay, and of course the warm climate, Benidorm is still a good choice for your next holiday abroad.
