For A Memorable Vacation There Is No Place Like The Falkland Islands

By Susan Candyce Jaquelyn PhD

Summer is right now at its peak. The sun is shining with full brightness. Vacations are going on in a number of locations around the globe. Like you, I also have time to take from my busy schedule and want to soar in the air and I am ready to plan a trip for my family and me. When it comes to plan for a trip, I pay close attention to details first and then decide where to go. How will I reach my favorite destination? How many days will my trip last? For me, all these points are of great importance. I have been traveling for many years. Traveling has always been my passion. Therefore, I have discovered some real happening places in this world. South Africa is one of the countries which have been left unexplored by me. I have heard a lot about this country. This lush green island has been one of the most sought after destinations. This year I am planning to visit this heavenly land.

Needless to mention, my trip to South Africa would obviously include a visit to the Falkland Islands about which I have heard so much. Divided into two separate islands " the East Falkland Island and the West Falkland Island, there is a cluster of other smaller islands which add more value to this Island as a holiday destination. The Island seems especially attractive to me, because of its meager population " only 3000! This would give me ample opportunity to spend my leisure days in peace and quietude away from the usual city noise that I am used to back home.

I have always planned my trip after reviewing all the necessary details that would relate to my trip including weather conditions of my destination, traveling details and a lot more. Stanley is the capitol of the Falkland Islands. This place is a port and it has been heard that living in Stanley is no less than spending a night in a camp. The Falkland Islands are a part of UK overseas territory. This territory is associated with the EU.

The weather of this scenic land is cool. Strong winds blow constantly in many of the parts of the islands. Snow is likely to occur at any time, but not in January and February. There are a variety of bird species. I am a nature lover; I have always been attracted to natural beauty. This is why I am going to fly to the islands. I have heard the marine and bird species on these islands have captured the attention of tourists to a great extent.

Even when I am sure of the beauty and splendor that await me in these Islands, I want to make sure that my travel with my family should be safe and convenient. I normally do a lot of research regarding the best mode of transport to travel to any destination and I find that there are a lot of flights and luxury cruises available that can transport me to Falkland Islands. After considering all the options I have, I have decided to take a flight to these splendid islands with Falkland Islands Travel. Of course, there is no dearth of travel agencies that can help me with the tickets, travel documents, etc. The items that I need to travel include a visa to enter the Falkland Islands, passport and other related travel documents. With all preparations complete, I am now ready to make my dream come true " I am going to holiday in the paradise on earth, the Falkland Islands.
