The Kentucky Glass Art

By Mercie Hallow

Art glass is a decorative piece of art that is made through the art of blowing into it. It can be achieved through the use of a long glass blower with a molten and pliable glass attached at the end of it. The glass blower then blows directly through the instrument until air reaches the molten glass forming a huge bubble. Glass blowers are expert glassmakers that mastered the art of creating shapes through the glass. A glass work station is usually hot mainly because of the heat coming from the furnace where they melt glass.
