Just decided to drop a quick post to tell every one about how much I like my Tom Tom Sat Nav at the moment.
So here a just some of the reasons I really love using it every day. I drive long distances for work so its fantastic.
1. I don?t need to depend on all my old dieing brain cells to remember how to get anywhere. This stops me getting ridiculously lost when I am out and about and there fore saves me so much time that it is absolutely untrue.
2. I find it amusing that my mother simply does not understand it and seems to think that it is the spear head oy yet another new wave of evil technology. Which she is basically convinced is taking over the world. The way she jumps every time it speaks totally cracks me up.
3. The voice is really clear and it is almost like having a second person in the car which is quite nice when travelling long distances. The voice I have selected is called Erica. This is an Irsih lady although I understand you can download lots of different voices from different regions. I quite fancy a celbs voice.
4. Avoiding toll charges is great. I hate paying tolls just to use the roads. I pay road tax and do not see why I should ever have to pay again to use something I have already paid for. Out of principle I avoid toll areas except if I am in a major rush then I use the fastest route option. Which seems pretty good overall.
5. All the points of interest are pointed out to me as I drive along. So its really easy to stop and visit. I get to see all sorts of interesting places I would otherwise miss. It even lets me sort all these places by type so I can find museums which I love.
6. It makes me turn up on time for all my hockey matches. Otherwise I would never find these places. I certainly would not arrive on time and would have to put up with the other players on the team taking the mic.
7. I love the way it is so easy to use that I can quickly reset it all when I am at junctions and so don?t have to keep stopping the car if I want to change where I am going. Its also pretty easy to see the thing in the day or night time. Which is great for me with my dodgy eyesight.
8. I will be looking forward to using my new sat nav to travel all around the northeast well on holiday next month. It is going to be fantastic.

This is by far my favourite gadget that is available today. The tomtom one v3. Although I am considering changeing it to to the tomtom one v4. Hopfully this will be much superior I hope so anyway.
