A Toast to Water!

Water is life! Water plays a very important role in all human being. It is also a big component our world economy.

Care for water resources, of any kind is very important may it be water for drinking or just stream water it is one of the cornerstones of environmental defense in all over the world. The risks are high and the issues rise above national limitations and intensive action at the level of the EU is necessary to ensure an effective protection.

Children are most susceptible to ailment; their body is not that strong to stand pains and infection. Children are less aware of the fact that everything around them, especially the water they drink is contaminated.

Water conservation refers to reduction of the use fresh water, through scientific or social procedures. Water conservation is the cheapest and environmental friendly way to reduce our demand for water.

Water Festival is an annual event is produced for children of the metropolitan area of Minneapolis Minnesota, the purpose of this festival is to educate children mostly the 4th and the 5th grade students, about waters condition and resources and a well as the ways on how children can get involve in conservation and maintenance of water.

During the fest children and educators unite, they are provided hands on opportunities for them to learn the importance of water both to people and the environment, here, teachers are allowed to choose from 30 different work stations to provide 6-8 half hours of lesson on topics that best suit their curriculum.

This Event is an eye opener both for the children and their educators; wise water management awareness is oblique for it is vital in providing the future with a healthy environment. People behind this event also believe that awareness and respect for water resources can inspire a person for commitment and advocacy in community participation involving water preservation.
