What to Buy In Fests on Music

By Ian Kleine

We had piano and music sheets, musical instruments, antique records (some still in their vinyl jackets), portraits (oil paintings and whatnot) and plaster and stone busts (of the various artists and composers of that time) and of course, the usual CDs and DVDs that were sold at a discounted price.

There was a listening station where I mostly hung out for the most part, if not almost all, of the day. Not that they minded, I had great interest in listening. And the folks that managed the area were a tad happy to have a regular immediately. I tip my hat to them.

Afternoon came and the Flower Duet was floating lazily in the air. The stage was being set up for an early performance by a traveling orchestra. I had immediately taken a front row seat for myself, and there were a few people who shared the same idea as me. The orchestra did not fail our expectations. They were quite awesome, if I do say so myself.

I had so much fun by the time I went home, I realize I hadn't eaten lunch and dinner. But I guess the time sacrificed, was worth it. After all, if there is something that can make you forget about food, it sure is worth it to spend that time on something.
