Also making Rhodes one of the best honeymoon destinations are its traditional villages and ancient castles, medieval settlements, archaeology sites and its beautiful beaches.

Offering diverse terrains ranging from hills and mountains to beaches, Crete is Greece's largest island. As Crete's primary attraction, Chania offers sumptuous seafood and charming shops. Knossos, Crete's ancient archaeological palace in Heraklion also has its share of tourists. Malia is where the British tourists and honeymooners mostly converge but the beaches of Ierapetra also make for a perfect honeymoon venue.

Famous for its gold and silver mines back in the ancient times, Sifnos is not as popular today. Because of the privacy it affords couples, it has become a favorite among honeymooners.
