Monterey Hotels Are The Key To A Great Vacation

By Nathan D. Clark

Monterey is a delightful, coastal community located in northern California just a 115 miles north of San Francisco. It has a temperate climate all year round, and visitors from all over the world come to enjoy its unmatched beauty, rich history and natural charm. One of the most amazing aspects of a vacation in Monterey is the myriad of Monterey hotels you can choose from.

If you are a people loving person with no worries about how much you can spend, then the high season during the months of May to October and the holidays, is the time for you to visit. For those who are on a more limited budget, and prefer to visit when there fewer people, the off season is during November through April. This is, also, when you can find incredible specials on hotel rooms.

The Acacia Lodge is nestled in a secluded, rural area in the heart of wine country. The hotel is at the end of a long, private drive that hides it from the rest of the world. You can begin your day at the fabulous, complimentary breakfast buffet, featuring the famous Belgian waffles. You can choose from a wide selection of waffle toppings, breads, eggs and cereals.

The rooms are delightfully decorated with French decor, and they offer fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. The amenities will delight any guest. Wireless internet, an iron and ironing board, blow dryer and coffee maker are all in your room just waiting to be used. This is country living at its best.

If you prefer to be closer to downtown Monterrey where the attractions and shops are located, choose the Stagecoach Inn. Besides the normal rooms with different bed sizes, they offer a beautiful King Fireplace Room. This is a larger room that includes a fireplace and king size bed. All of their rooms have a small refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Every room has been remodeled and redecorated, and each one has a lovely marble bathroom.

Are you tired of driving and would just like to find a place where you can get out from behind the wheel and rest? At the Cannery Row Inn you can leave your keys behind, because it is within sight of the ocean, and it is right in the middle of the historic district. You can walk just about anywhere you want to go. The rooms have their own balcony where you can sit and look out over the ocean and the different walking trails. If you are looking for a cozy, romantic vacation, you will enjoy their queen and king rooms that include a homey fireplace. A family suite, with a queen size bed and two kings, is available for families of any size.

At Spindrift Inn, it's all about comfort. Every room has its own wood burning fireplace, an inviting window seat or a private balcony with a fabulous ocean view and a superb feather mattress. The delightful continental breakfast is delivered to your room every morning on a silver tray in their effort to make you feel like royalty. Each room is an intimate, romantic experience.

Monterrey is a mixture of indescribable beauty, intriguing history and delightful customs, making it a wonderful place to vacation. Add to that the comfort and style of the Monterey hotels, and you have a vacation you'll never forget.
