There Are Many Reasons That You Should Visit Brisbane

Brisbane is the third largest city in the world, following behind New York City and Los Angeles. Famous for is mild weather and carefree lifestyle, Brisbane offers much for visitors from around the world. While in Brisbane you can enjoy some of the greatest dinning and wine, the best arts and entertainment, and the most enthusiastic sporting events found anywhere.

The Brisbane River is located in the center of Brisbane as travels straight through the Center Business District and suburbs. One of the best way to see the city, and all that it has to offer, is by taking a ride on the CityCat Ferry. Brisbane is a fabulous city that is known for its beaches, river, rain forests and mountains. Brisbane's Moreton Bay, and it's Islands, are the best place for aquatic adventures of all kinds.

Brisbane's arts scene has at its hub the Cultural Centre at South Bank. It boasts the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA),Australia's largest modern art gallery, the State Library of Queensland, the Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC). In the city the Brisbane City Gallery has a contemporary exhibitions in a variety of medium and Customs House Gallery has changing exhibitions featuring mostly Queensland artists. For the collector, the works of local artists can also be found in the string of art galleries at the New Farm end of Brunswick Street.

If you enjoy taking risks then you will want to head straight for Conrad International Treasury Casino. This casino is open twenty four hours a day. The casino is a great place to press your luck or take in some of the Brisbane history, as it is located in a restored historic building within the city.

Brisbane's endless shopping opportunities have expanded with Sunday shopping now extending to the suburbs as well as in the CBD. In the city centre, the central hub is the exciting Queen Street Mall with a full range of international stores and the multi level Myer Centre. Sprawling suburban shopping malls offer hundreds of shops under one roof and the boutique shopper will find plenty of fascinating shops amidst the cafe strips of Milton, Hamilton,West End and Paddington. Bargain Hunters should head to the DFOs at Jindalee and Brisbane Airport or to Stones Corner where many of the city's factory and seconds outlets have their shops.
