By Mara Hernandez-Capili

Everyone of us had our own first brush with art when we were little whether it be on an art lesson or a craft fair. As kids, we completely marvel at the vast display of colors in front of us. We are equally at awe for the many possibilities that can be achieved through these art materials. Art has been in eternity since the prehistoric times. The earliest recorded artwork is the famous cave dwelling art by the prehistoric people. During those times art is viewed as a means to document events and history. The pigments that they came from nature.

Masters, great painters and artists soon followed centuries after. Those are Michelangelo, Rafael, Leonardo da Vinci and so on. They are regarded and highly respected- some of their artowrks still stands up today in celebration of their greatness and timelessness.

The generation of today has chosen the path to artistry. The St. Cloud High School Art Show in Minnesota has an annual art show that features the works of their most talented students. This is a one day event to celebrate the superb skills and talents of the high school kids. The kids are very talented as they mimic their favorite artist's artworks while also, creating their own.

The exhibit don't just show paintings but also sculptures and photography as well. There are also fine print artowrks done by the students. The art exhibit is a sure way for the parents of the students to be informed at the artistry that they children possess. Let these brave and skilled students be rewarded by displaying their artworks at the festival.

If you are coming from Minnesota, please drop by the St. Cloud exhibit. It opens on April and is a great and fun way to celebrate spring. Let the colors transform you to a place full of art and style. Let us all amaze at the extraordianry artistry in the event.
