A Brief Glance At The Background Of EVA Air

By Lex Simian Xavier

EVA Air, pronounced "E - V - A," is an Asian based international airline passenger carrier operating out of Taiwan. They made their debut in the late 1980s and continue to be a mostly privately owned airline. There are a variety of investors that have put millions of dollars into this company. Many different variations of the company slogans have been used effectively to build this business. Even though 20 years has passed, the slogan "Fly EVA Air and Feel the Difference" is still remembered. Slogans like "Sharing the World, Flying Together" are very memorable which is why they make them. This article will discuss some of the more intriguing aspects of this company.

EVA, from many outlooks, had an eventful year in 2010. In addition to making adjustments to management and expanding their routes, they were also able to bid on a higher number of partnerships. In order to increase the number of destinations in Canada, the company completed several inroads via a new service route to Toronto. Farther along in the year, they launched a connecting flight from Taipei to Tokyo. Taken as a whole, the year was potent as the company accounted that their annual profits had progressed. There will be an anticipation of new development aptitudes in the midway. The rationale for this is that EVA has put in their application with the Star Alliance of associated airlines. Once that is approved, then there will be even more good things happening with EVA.

As you may have guessed, they are also tapped into several other businesses related to travel. Worldwide distribution of products goes through their EVA Air Cargo subdivision. Their partnership with Evergreen land and sea shipping on a worldwide scale provides for a thriving freight hauling enterprise. They also tried to do shipping in a variety of other ways. In regional areas near their home base of Taiwan, they also do freight hauling through their integrated network. Combined with their ground services, they also lease airplanes and service them as well.

Profits and expansion was the name of the game for EVA after 2005. They were even flying to and from New Jersey and some other areas on the East Coast of the United States at that same time. Flying from Paris to Taiwan, which was canceled the year prior, was reinstated much to the company's surprise. Traveling to and from various destinations was often changed, however, this is something normal that most airlines encounter. A stronger company emerged after these many changes as they continued to expand into more markets.

The financial stability of EVA is a testament to their good business practices and their devotion toward expansion and being the best. Expanding into the international marketplace is not very easy, though it is something that this company was able to do. This airline operates from Taiwan, yet is able to span across the world and still handle domestic flights. A conglomeration of multiple Asian airlines, under the aegis of EVA, they have grown exponentially and are very stable. However, they were able to begin expanding internationally while they worked on the domestic situation at home in Taiwan.

A lot of people who fly often understand the importance of dressing comfortably yet appropriately while flying. This is very easily done with a pair of Lacoste shorts. You will be able to unwind on the way to wherever you're flying to, while looking fashionable and professional at the same time.
