However we would highly recommend you try their chilli squid Thai noodle salad or their crispy duck breast with Chinese greens in a honey and sesame dressing. A 2 course meal here will set you back around 35.
2. Lasan - The Indian food that this restaurant has been given a modern twist and the restaurant is located in the city not far from St Paul's Church. On offer you can try their breast of duck served with a tomato and onion curry that has been flavoured with roasted coconut, poppy and melon seeds. Then again you may want to try the fillet of lemon sole that has been marinated in yoghurt and mint. After trying this restaurants food you can see why in 2007 it was given a British Curry Award. As for prices their 2 course meals cost from 22.00.
3. Simpsons - This is without doubt the Grande dame of all the restaurants for eating out in Birmingham. What makes this an enjoyable place to visit is that in the conservatory style dining room there are large windows installed that allow you to watch the kitchen staff at work preparing the sumptuous food that this restaurant has to offer. The restaurant is located on Highfield Road, Edgbaston and a 2 course meal here will cost around 45.00.
4. Thai Edge - This particular place for eating out in Birmingham is located in Brindley Place and others a wide selection of authentic Thai dishes for you to try. Favourites with many who choose this restaurant are the punch Tom Yum Soup or the salad of glass noodles with minced pork and prawns. Plus of course not forgetting their wonderful Thai curries. A 2 course meal at this superb restaurant will cost not much more than 30.00 per person.
