A Goldmine of Cultural Activities Awaits in San Francisco

By David DuPont

Everyone knows that San Francisco is a mecca for people of different cultures and interests. It's music in the Civic Center, museums in SoMa (south of Market Street), and theater in Union Square! The culture of acid rock began in San Francisco in the 1960s with Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead. And it's still going strong all over the country. Meanwhile, other cultures have proliferated throughout the San Francisco music, dance, art, film, theater and intellectual worlds.

If you ever find yourself with nothing to do in Marin County, in places like as Sausalito, where the Bay Area Discovery Museum is located, you can always go to the City to see your choice of an amazing array of cultural activities.
