For a relaxing walk and excellent views of Llandudno and the Great Orme take a stroll along Llandudno's Victorian pier. There's a small number of stalls are dotted along the pier selling a mixture of tourist items and there's plenty of attractions for children from amusement arcades to rides. There's excellent views of Llandudno's promenade and Happy Valley from the pier and if you look closely you'll see the cable cars heading to and from the Great Orme summit.
Llandudno cable car is Britain's longest cable car ride and takes you from the foot of the Great Orme at Happy Valley to the summit over 600 feet above sea level. You can easily fit a family of two adults and two to three children in the cable car comfortably or up to four adults. From the summit on a clear day you can easily see the mountains of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey to the west. There's also a visitor centre and a playground and amusement centre.
Another way to get up and down to the Great Orme summit is via Llandudno's tram. The tram's are beautifully decorated and have open windows taking riders from the base station close to the town centre up towards the summit. If you don't fancy a cable car ride then the tram is the perfect way to explore the Great Orme. Passengers change at the half way station and there's a small exhibition detailing some of the history of the trams in Llandudno.

They are believed to date back over 4000 years show what life could have been like for the early settlers in North Wales.
