Sunshine in Caleta de Fuste

By Allan S Redfearn

Caleta de Fuste was mainly designed to serve as a tourist destination, and the region boasts of round the year sunshine with almost no rainfall, making it an ideal destination to soak up the sun.

The picture perfect beaches with golden sand in Caleta have been man made and their beauty hasn't waned in the many years that they have been around, quite unlike many other beaches that have been man made.

Caleta de Fuste has some great beach facing hotels that one can choose from and the Sheraton and the Elba Carlotta are part of the increasing number of luxury hotels in the region.

These beaches have been made by creating lagoons out of solid rocks and are picture perfect.

Transportation isn't a problem and one can hop on a bus and get to Puerto Del Rosario in around 20 minutes. Also, even though there aren't too many taxis in Caleta, they are fairly easy to come by.

The last couple of years have witnessed a significant growth in he region, and apart from the wide range of hotels and holiday apartments to choose from, the region also boasts of two 18 hole golf courses.

With tourists serving as the primary focus, a majority of the resorts/hotels in the region have a wide range of activities for their guest to partake in all year round.

Caleta de Fuste in Fuerteventura is also called El Castillo, Caleta, and Costa Caleta and this often leads to some confusion amongst the regions many visitors.

With a lot on offer in terms of beautiful locales as well as things to do, one thing you can be sure of is that one will go back home with pictures one's friends/family would love as well as some great memories.
