Tourism In Grand Rapids

One city that sometimes goes overlooked is the tourism department is Grand Rapids Michigan. There are plenty of things to do such as Sculpture Park and the Frederick Meijer Gardens. These are just two of the many places though.

If you are looking for some kind of family fun, you can look at a place like the Southwood Resort which is on the Pokegama Lake. There your family can stay in one of the cozy cabins and do activities like golf, fishing, hiking, and plenty of water activities.

There are many parks in the area like Scenic State Park and Mine State Park. Many of these are open year round. They all offer tons of things to do during your visit. Pack a lunch and enjoy a day at each of these amazing park lands.

If camping is your thing and you have a camper, you can check out the Jessie View Resort & RV Campground which is situated around the Chippewa National Forests area. There is plenty to do there and includes laundry facilities, internet on your site, a recreation center, gift store, playground in the wood and plenty more.

Finally, if you want to do some kind of beach activities, you can look at the Loon Point Resort which includes lakes and forests. You can go hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, swimming and plenty of other things to do.

If you choose to go on vacation in Grand Rapids, you are sure to find plenty to do whatever your interests are.
