Crafty Moms are Making Toys!

Practical moms will always device a lot of ways to save money on household requirements. There are a lot of do it yourself household remedies which types spreads from cleaning agents, soaps, shampoos, body washes, baby diapers, baby toys, etc. Allowing yourself to be practical will allow you to save a lot of money from household items. A practical mother would then turn to creative ideas on how to be practical yet have fun.

The idea of making homemade toys is from mothers who wanted to obtain these three things: save up on her childrens toys, assurance that each toy presented to her child is safe and the need to exercise her creativity. Making homemade play dough is very easy as the materials can be found right in your own kitchen! The ingredients for homemade play dough are: 1 cup table salt, 1 " cups of flour, 4 tablespoons olive oil, 4 teaspoons cream of tartar, food coloring and flavor oil (vanilla, peppermint, almond, etc.) for scent.

Put all the ingredients together to form a huge paste like "dough". Grab a handful, indent a side with your finger and add food color after which start molding it in your palm to show the achieved color. Add more drops of food color until you were able to reach your desired color. Do this with the rest while putting a new color so you could have play dough of different shades.

The home made play dough can be kept in a air tight container that can last you for months. You need not to worry if your child was accidentally able to eat some since the materials are obviously safe for them. Homemade play dough's characteristics is to dry out, if this happens just simple ad drops of water to regain moisture.

You may want to be a little creative and earn from it through selling! Try printing cute labels for your play dough jars. Remember to put your business name and contact numbers into the labels so people may instantly contact you for their orders. Homemade toys are definitely a craze and many would be interested to try one of those!
