Ideas For Vacations In The Italian Lakes And Mountains

Holidays in the Italian Lakes and Mountains are very popular amongst tourists from all over the world. Italy has some absolutely fantastic attractions for any traveller to its beautiful lands. From wonderful landscapes and languages, to fantastic foods and fabulous people, the things that Italy offers will always provide a host of great memories.

The three main Italian Lakes on offer for your visiting pleasure are Garda, Maggiore and Como. These lakes are dazzlingly beautiful under the Italian sun and provide an awe inspiring spectacle against the backdrop of Dolomites, the great mountains that stand above them.

Of course, Italy has a lot more to offer than just its array of gorgeous scenic attractions such as mountains, Lakes and beaches. As well as these, you have her most beautiful cities to explore. Wonderful Rome, romantic Venice and Artistic Florence are just a few for you to consider.

At the Lakes there are great treasures awaiting you to be found, such as Isola Bella at Maggiore. If you are keen on beautiful gardens and the like, then the elegant Villa Carlotta next to Lake Como will most definitely please you, and there are many more besides.

If it is walking and hiking that you enjoy then look no further than the Dolomites and all of the different paths and trails that you can take along them. For those who like their independence then Italy offers so much to those who look to hire cars and take in all of the sights and sounds at their own leisure.

It really depends on the sort of person you are and the sort of trip you are looking to take as to how you will go about your visit. If you are an independent sort then you will be best off getting yourself a hired car and exploring at your own leisure. If you are looking more for a relaxing excursion then the great beach and spa resorts will no doubt appeal to you. Whatever you are after, Italy has something great for everyone.
