Many of us love the idea of doing a road trip, but don't like the idea of all the driving involved. And driving around a country or a city you're not familiar with can be a very stressful experience. Even for the most experienced drivers. If you want to see lots of places, there are alternative modes of travel and there are many benefits on a coach tour vacation

If you're traveling by coach, you don't need keep one eye on a road map, which can mean missing many of the sights along the way. You don't have the stress of navigating tricky one-way systems or trying to read signs written in a foreign language. They only things you do need to do are relax and enjoy the ride and sights.

Modern coaches are designed with comfort in mind. Facilities include reclining seats, toilets and entertainment channels playing films and music. There are headphone sockets for each seat, so those who want to enjoy the entertainment can do so without disturbing those who want to sleep. There may also be a few light refreshments and drinks available.

The on-board guides are a great source of knowledge for the sites you're visiting on your tour. They also know the routes you'll take inside and out, so can point out anything of interest you pass between destinations. On some tours guides stay with you, throughout, leading you around the attractions and sights you'll visit.

On other tours passengers will have some time explore without the group and make their own way around. The guide can advise which places or areas should not be missed, as well as those that should definitely be avoided. He or she can also provide information on local traditions and culture.
