The South African city of Pretoria is the administrative capital city of South Africa, and is in the north of the Gauteng Province. The city is just 45 km (30 miles) north of Johannesburg and the Oliver Tambo International Airport, so if you need to stay around this area, perhaps one of the Pretoria hotels may be an interesting option. From June 2011, the Gautrain rapid rail link will be fully operational in the Pretoria meaning just a 40 minute train ride between the cities.
