Locating Good Cincinnati OH Hotels For Pleasure & Business

By Will Adams

Visitors looking for Cincinnati OH hotels don't need to look very far. The Queen City offers plenty of accommodations for budgets small and big spread all over the city. But there are three main choices, or locations which are generally convenient for visitors of all stripes.

These choices include the downtown area which has over 3000 first class hotel rooms. There's another group of fine choices to the North along I-275 and a third choice in properties just across the river in Covington, KY. Visitors can make a choice between these options based on their budgets and the reason for the trip (business, family vacation, sight seeing, etc.).

The downtown location, as stated above, has a wide choice from luxury to budget. But a lot of travelers are put off by all the traffic and noise, and the premium cost for being in the central business district. The better option, from this point of view, is a hotel in Cincinnati North that will be more affordable and set in a nice and peaceful neighborhood.

Some go one step further and will cross the bridge to Covington, KY. It's not so far back in to Cincinnati and it does cut down the room cost quite a lot. But location-wise, the aforementioned North is much more convenient and central for travelers. It is just a short hop to downtown, and it connects travelers with all three airports and all the highways.

With the location settled, the next step would be to drill down to a specific hotel that offers the requisite amenities and facilities. As a rule, travelers will find that Cincinnati OH hotels offer free wi-fi and cable tv with movies in-room. Guests will also be provided with items like a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron & board, etc.

Onsite restaurants with room service should also be available. Business travelers can find everything they need here, including 24-hour business centers and meeting rooms. For families on vacation, the hotels offer indoor and outdoor pools, with pet-friendly rooms, onsite laundry service, cribs available on request and just about anything the kids and their parents want.

Whatever the choice of location and hotel, one thing visitors will get for sure is good service. Whether it is a family with kids heading for the Cincinnati Zoo, a couple heading to Music Hall for an opera or a business traveler in town for a convention, the Queen City knows how to make visitors feel welcome. It will be the hotel's job to make sure that vacations, getaways and business trips are comfortable and hassle-free.
