Historic Adventure and Natural Beauty Awaits

Although most tourist tend to flock to Sydney or Melbourne, when they are traveling to Australia, there is so much more to see in other regions. If you want to observe some the most incredible wild life, or natural beauties, above all in the world, than stray away from these large cities and venture to other Australian regions instead.

One such area that is full of natural wonders such as incredible grasslands, incredible rivers, and waterfalls that you can easily sit and watch for hours is the Tropical Gulf Savannah region which is located in Tropical North Queensland. A rugged landscape that is rich in history and culture makes for an incredible vacation destination.

While in the Tropical Savannah region you can spend a day learning of the history of the land, ancient artwork, and the folktales and legends of the countryside. When night sets in, you can lay on a grassy land, or sit outside on your patio and gaze up at the stars, while relaxing and having a worry in the world at that moment.

While here take in the preserved history of mining towns, and revel in the sense of peacefulness that gives this region a common ground for all the people within. This Northern region of Australia is a way to truly experience what the Outback is about.

Walk through and explore for relics and gems, in the Riversleigh Fossil Fields. This is a region rich in natural beauty and tradition. There is so many things for you to do and see while vacationing in the region. Undara Lava Tubes, Lawn Hill National Park are two natural wonders that you should not miss on during your stay. Undara Lava Tubes, is located by Mt. Surprise and at Lawn Hill National Park you can witness its rainforest oasis.

With the natural beauty, historical areas, and peaceful environment the Tropical Savannah region is the best place for a relaxing visit. Who need all the hustle and bustle of a big city while on vacation, isn't that what you deal with every other day of your life?
