Top Guadalajara Vacation Rental Tips

By Angela Suarez

There are several types of Guadalajara vacation rentals available such as condos, apartments, single room rentals and even large homes.

Guadalajara is a fantastic city with a very rich culture, beautiful architecture in downtown or known as el centro, fun sights for family and couples, very delicious food and excellent shopping spots.

If you are looking for a comfortable rental then consider your own personal tastes. The rental experience can be lots of fun and provide a new experience.

You will have the chance to get to see what it would be like to really live in Mexico! You can shop for your food at the local supermarket and get to know the neighborhood and neighbors.

Before you rent out just any accommodation, find out what is important to you; such as:

Do you need wireless connections?

Does it need to be completely furnished?

Do you need it to be in a certain area? Where?

Do you need a fully functioning kitchen?

Do you want it to be a luxury home?

The choosier you are, the pricier your accommodations may be, just realize that you are paying for comfort and certain amenities (wireless access for example). Most Guadalajara vacation rental owners really do their best to try and cater to the needs of prospective renters.

There are also single room rentals if you are trying to save money. These rooms are usually equipped with a bed, television and maybe a bathroom. You might also have to share the home with other people, so keep that in mind.

You can find some cheap deals on rentals but try to remember that you usually get what you pay for. If it is very inexpensive you may be missing out on some of those "perks," such as internet access, washer/dryer or other nice extras.

Many Guadalajara vacation rentals might not have air conditioning. Many of the people who live there are quite used to it and feel find without a/c. The weather is very comfortable and usually pleasant all year round.

If you think that this will be a problem then you will need to make some adjustments when searching.

It is also extremely important to always have a way to reach the owner of your rental. You never know when a pipe might bust!

Always ask questions if you are not sure what your rental comes with! You will eliminate unwanted surprises and have a great, carefree vacation this way.
