The Crawford Hotel This accommodation is much closer to the center of the city, about 1.6 kilometers. It is a two star hotel with good en suite accommodation and, crucially, you can access your room 24 hours a day, excellent if you are planning to have a long night out or need access during the day. If required there is Free wireless internet access available in public areas of the hotel.
Places To Visit
In Exeter there are only a few of visitor attractions which merit a visit including; St Peter's Cathedral, Rougemont Castle and the Royal Albert Museum. As I mentioned earlier there is a small number of nearby seaside resorts to visit the finest being the pretty villages of Seaton, Sidmouth and Beer.
Further away, in between Plymouth and Exeter is the sparsely populated moorland of the Dartmoor National Park with the overall area having a fair few visitor attractions worth considering including Buckland Abbey, Buckfast Abbey and A La Ronde on the main road, to Plymouth. Along the way you will pass by the Torbay area, which is made up of Brixham, Paignton and Torquay and is frequently called the English Riviera region.
Exeter really is a cool place in which to stay however why not debate having a 2 destination vacation and spend a few of days in a really plush Plymouth hotel and tour the spectacular countryside and coast in between these 2 vacation destinations?
