Best Places To Go To For Your Tanzania Holidays

By Jess O'Neal

The Republic of Tanzania is an East African country that is surrounded by Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and other countries. Citizens from these neighboring countries and those who often come for business trips or holidays make out time for Tanzania holidays because of the wonderful attractions.

You can never get bored in this country. The citizens speak Swahili and English Language so communication cannot be a barrier to your enjoyment. Some of the top tourist attractions include Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro, Mikumi National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Marine Parks, Olduavi Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Selous National Game Reserve, Lake Tanganyika, Katavi National Park, Arusha National Park and Zanzibar.

Another thing people like about this country is the presence of Lake Tanganyika. Some scholars go to this lake on excursion to confirm that the lake is indeed the lengthiest fresh water lake in Africa and the second largest in the world. The length of the lake passes through the surrounding countries: Burundi, Zambia and Congo but Congo has a larger proportion (about 45%) of its entire length.

You can locate Zanzibar Island in the Indian Ocean. Many people love going to Zanzibar so that they can view its beaches and coral reefs. Another spectacular thing about this tourist attraction site is the presence of the historic Stone Town.

Mountain climbers find it very interesting to go to Mount Kilimanjaro for endurance test. This mountain is the highest in Africa and it is located in Moshi Town. The mountain has been able to survive several years because the people around it take very care of the ecosystems. The government is also very concerned about it.

You can enjoy your Tanzania holidays in much more ways than these. The country is more enjoyable during festive seasons such as Easter and Christmas when several people across the globe come together. You will not have any problem with accommodation since there are several hotels in the country.
