Business Jet Charter Is Only The Beginning Of The Rewards That Top Level Executives Might Receive

By Lovie W. Johnstone

If you become the leading executive of a large corporation, you can expect to enjoy some very exclusive luxuries that help make your job even more worthwhile, like a company expense account or a business jet charter. Treats such as private flight are just one of the numerous items that are included in most benefits packages for upper level employees in large companies, these provisions are offered for good reason, getting to the top isn't easy.

The bonuses that are permitted to most employees start out small and grow with time; this sort of reward system is one of the things that encourage employees to continuously improve their performance, after all if there was nothing to strive for many people would become sedentary pretty fast. Even an entry level, post-collegiate job, usually includes benefits that one has never had before, such as health insurance, a retirement plan, and vacation time; with the next promotion the benefits may be a private office or secretary.

After you've spent long enough as a lower level manager, you could end up becoming a supervising director over many other departmental managers, in which case you would earn a bump up to the next wave of perks. The higher ranking officials generally have numerous people working beneath them, including a personal secretary or assistant and a group of individuals who answer directly to them.

Being in upper level management is a pretty big deal with more perks than any one employee could ask for, which is why a lot of the things that you get to take advantage of as an actual CEO or Vice President seem almost unbelievable. The individuals that make it to this level receive things like country club memberships, all the vacation time they can stand, access to a business jet charter to carry them anywhere they want to go, and an office at the very top with the best view in the entire building.

The flipside of benefits such as the ability to take a business jet charter instead of a commercial flight, or having the largest and quietest office in the room are often overlooked, however, these benefits help to businesses to function more efficiently in many ways. Getting to the top is about more than just perks and rewards, there is a feeling of strength and achievement that accompanies reaching this goal, that beats all else.
