Travel to Tropical Places

By Martin Elmer

It is easy to travel to tropical areas, because they are populated by humans. Travelling to the rainforest however is a little bit more complicated. You can read about types of travelling in this article.

If you want to lie on a tropical beach, there are several countries to choose from; most of them are either located in South Asia or South America.

Accommodation at these countries is fairly cheap. However, airfares tend to be pricier depending where you are coming from. It is best to look around online and at your agencies for the best deals and packages.

The Amazon in Ecuador, South America is another popular tropical destination. Depending on which areas that is restricted for tourists, you can visit six different regions. The regions are: Zamora Chinchipe, Pastaza, Santiago, Morona, Sucumbios, Orellana.

Tena and Coca are the two only cities in The Amazon. It takes 6 hours to travel by bus to Tena, and the bus normally does not make any stops during the trip. The price for the whole trip is $7.

For your safety it is best to travel in a group in the Amazon. A tour guide who knows about the plants, animals and surrounding areas is also ideal.

There are also jungle lodges that you can stay in for a few days if you have the budget and time. These are based right inside the jungle. These packages usually include biking, canoe trips and fishing.

The fees for these lodges are pretty decent; they range from $100USD to over $250USD per night, depending on the quality and packages that comes with the lodges. It's best to book these packages while you are in Ecuador because they are much cheaper than booking them indirectly in your country.
