What Are The Top Kentucky Attractions?

By Rob Blackstone

There are many top Kentucky attractions that people can visit if they ever come to Kentucky. A lot of people even come to Kentucky specifically to see these different attractions. Even if these people are not coming to Kentucky for the attractions, they should try to see them if they are in the general area where these attractions are.

There's another nice place that you should go see if you are ever in this area, the mountain life museum. Even if you are not in the area of London Kentucky, you should still take the time to go and visit this place. This museum is a tribute to life in the eighteen hundreds and it is mostly about Laurel county.

There is also a state park which is in Richmond Kentucky and this is the richest state park which is east of the Mississippi. This place was made a sanctuary to nature in the mid seventeen hundreds by Daniel Boone.

If you like history, you might want to go to the Mountain life museum which is located in London. This is not the actual London you are thinking of, this is London Kentucky and this museum is great because it talks about the history in Laurel county and surrounds life in the eighteen hundreds.

You might even get the chance to stop by and visit the birth place of The sixteenth president! Don't know who the sixteenth president is? It is Lincoln, of course! You can actually see the log cabin and the dirt floor where his mother gave birth to him.

There are more than just Birth places, horse races and museums. You can also see many historical sites and a lot of beautiful parks in the great state of Kentucky. And you thought Kentucky was only a hillbilly state where you only see dirt roads and chickens!
