* The Petronas Towers
The Petronas Towers are not only a "must-see" while in Malaysia but are actually very hard to miss if you spend any time in central Kuala Lumpur. Recently these were the tallest buildings in the world and stand at the height of 452 meters above ground level. Inside you can see the Petronas Philharmonic Hall, the Petronas Art Gallery and also the KLCC Aquarium - an ocean aquarium which holds various sealife including sharks and stingrays. Menara Kuala Lumpur or Kuala Lumpur Tower was built in 1995 and is situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It stands at 421 meters high and is the 6th tallest tower in the world. If you feel like having a fantastic view of all of Kuala Lumpur then you will find inside the tower a revolving restaurant, which would be a marvellous experience for any tourist to have.

The Muzium Negara is situated just outside Perdana Lake Gardens and is built in the style of a Rumah Gadang. Situated on top of a hill at Jalan Travers, it serves visitors as an introduction to the culture and history of Malaysia.
* The National Palace
The National Palace is the home to the King of Malaysia, as the name implies it to be. It was the home to the Sultan of Selangor once the Japanese occupation of 1941 to 1945 came to an end. In 1957 however, the Government acquired the Palace to be the King's residential Palace.
* Malaysian National Mosque
The National Mosque is so large that it can easily accommodate up to 15 thousand people at any one time. It is the main feature of 13 acres of lovely gardens and the main features include a 73 meter high minaret and a star design for the main roof area. The gardens are dotted with various water features throughout.
* Central Market
Also known as Pasar Seni, the Central Market was at one time the wet market which sold mainly fresh fish. Now however, the main products on offer to customers are arts and crafts, antiques and paintings, souvenirs and clothing products. The market is built in the old British colonnial style.
