Japan And Nihon Sankei

By Freddy McCandless

You will positively see a lot of tall buildings in Japan since it is one of the leaders when it comes to technology after all. You should certainly check out their Nihon Sankei for a change. Let's not forget that this country is also breathtaking for its rich environment. But the Nihon Sakei, which is in fact the three most scenic spots in the country, is definitely something worth seeing. There are Matsushima, Miyajima, and Amanohashidate. Go ahead and read on.

Matsushima

There is no doubt about it, Matsushima Bay is positively on the top of the list. This bay is home to about 200 tiny islets all covered in spectacular pine trees. It definitely lives up to being part of the list. This is a total tourist hot spot. But certainly the ultimate way to enjoy it is by cruise boat. You can take one that just goes around Matsushima or you may actually buy tickets for one that will bring to Shingama. Heck, but if you want a fairly long ride, you can go all the way to Oku-Matsushima.

Miyajima

You can take a boat ride that will bring you from Hiroshima to the small island Miyajima. Probably what this is most famous for is it's the torii gate. What makes this huge gate so special is that when the tide is high it gives the illusion that it is floating on the water. It is not surprising that it is one of the most famous scenic spots. This area is great for everyone, but it is really the very best retreat for couples and lovers. This place is just so tranquil and very romantic. Imagine, this place even has deer.

Amanohashidate

Last but not the least is Amanohashidate. Translated as bridge in heaven, the name alone says a lot. Basically you have a 3.6 kilometer long sand bar that is riddled in lush pine trees. This sand bar is actually located on the Miiyazu Bay in the northern Kyoto Prefecture. However, it is said that the spot with the ideal view of it is on the hills at the other side of the bay. They also say that for you to in fact see the bridge in heaven instead of just a really long sand bar is that you must first face your back to the bay, bend over, then you should really look from between your legs.
