Information About Sharm El Sheikh Holidays

By Dean James

In the "City of Peace", Sharm el Sheikh holidays provide something totally unique to travelers. This region is along the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, which is a coastal strip of the Red Sea. This locale is filled with wildlife, flora, and terrain unlike any found elsewhere in the world.

It is nestled near Saint Catherine's Monastery and Mount Sinai. Situated along the Gulf of Aqaba, the Ras Mohammed National Sea Park and the Island of Tiran are also nearby. Also called the "City of Peace, " this area is resplendent with extraordinary experiences.

Another famous area is the National Sea Park Ras Um Sid. This contains wild Reeves fish, which evolved from an unknown species. As a rare virgin area, this is not far from one of the busiest bay ports in the area, Na'ama Bay. This area, although somewhat congested, is filled with luxurious hotels and many tourist activities including diving, snorkeling, shopping, and night clubs.

Camping is a favorite activity for travelers as well. Eating food cooked over an open fire, participating in outdoor activities, and watching the brilliant sky at night provide both leisure and recreation. Additionally, the market areas provide all the needs for camping as well as enjoying outdoor life.

This area can accommodate many kinds of tourists. Favorite activities are safaris that can be arranged by the hotels, although many prefer just sitting by the pool, resting on the beach, or taking in the breathtaking sunsets. Additionally, getting around is not a problem since taxis, microbuses, and rental cars are plentiful.

For those who would like something new, Sharm el Sheikh holidays are a delight. Contacting a travel agent who specializes in this area is a great place to start. Although the Internet will have a plethora of information, there is nothing quite like talking to someone who has been there to understand what to expect.
