A Tour on the Culture of San Francisco

San Francisco is actually a really heavily populated place. Because of the vast improvement in biotechnology, a lot of technologies and science firms were established in the area coupled with the rise in California Gold Rush thus making the place the centre for trade and industry. You could actually see in a lot of cultural books, movies and songs that there are many cultural heritages that need to be discovered in the place San Francisco, making it a great place for anybody coming from different places to travel on every year. You can actually book your flight in a lot of cheap airlines just to go in San Francisco and have tat delightful experience.

There is this place called Golden Gate Bridge that is very popular in San Francisco due to its structure. It is during the 1930's that the construction of this bridge had started and it lasted for four years, making it the longest bridge ever created. It might not be the longest bridge now, but it is still very impressive for those who happen to see it. In addition to that, you would surely enjoy your trip once you see the very attractive "Painted Ladies" Victorian houses, plus the interesting cable car system that you can only find in San Francisco.

If you really want to discover more on the cultural side of the city, there are many museums that are found in the place. You shouldn't want to miss visiting cultural places like Contemporary Jewish Museum and Museum of the Africa Diaspora located within the city. Aside from that, you would be amazed by some underground must-see structures like Loch Ness Monster Museum, Bigfoot, the UFO and the Antique Vibrator Museum influenced by the liberal politics of the place.

If you want to see some products of great art, you should try visiting some art galleries in the place. The Museum of Modern Art is said to be the famous among all. It is during the early 1930's that this place was established for the reason that they wanted to preserve and remember the art of the 20th century and the famous artists. You could also find some museums that display not only the local works but also the international works like that of the Chinese and Egyptians, namely the Asian Art Museum and M. H. de Young Memorial Museum.

San Francisco is also abundant with great music and interesting festivals. If you are the type of person who rally has the sweet affection of music, you would surely be mesmerized by the popular songs like San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear flowers in Your Hair) and I Left My Heart in San Francisco and even the well-known artists in the music industry like Santana, Faith No More, Jefferson Airplane and Dead Kennedys. Since year 2001, a free music festival is regularly held in the Golden Gate Park called Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.
