Touring the world is something that today is very feasible as the costs are fair and the traveling options are various and wide. So even if you are a poor student, you can find your way to the plane. Today youngsters as well as ole people all seek for the opportunity to jump to another country. Israel, despite the negative media attention is one of the most attractive destination drawing tourists from every corner of the world. If one will try to characterize the typical tourist who visits Israel, it will be almost impossible since the tourists who visit Israel come from different backgrounds, origins, and come for completely different causes: from pilgrims to muslins who came to visit the holy places to homosexuals who come to enjoy the gay friendly atmosphere of Tel Aviv.

Among those groups, Christian pilgrims are very dominant. Israel is one of the most scared places in the world; especially for Christians. For those who join a special trip for touring the holy places that are mentioned in the bible, a life changing experience is waiting for them. People who want to strengthen their spirituality and belief; this is a very good way to do it as all the stories of the bible become vivid and real. Those tour suits people who are in a quest for meaning and want to connect or renew their faith. Below are the main places you will visit:

Nazareth: This city is one of the most scarred places for Christians since as we all know Jesus grew up here and became a leader for many followers. You will visit the church of Annunciation as well as Joseph, Jesus father carpentry workshop. Also, you will visit the old synagogue of the city.

Jerusalem is a complicated city but simply unforgettable. The most important sights are clustered in the old city. In the old city you will walk through the four quarters among them the Christian quarter and reach the Via Dolorosa and church of Sepulture.

Kinneret Lake (the Sea of Galilee) - the lake where Jesus walked upon the water, is considered a holy place for Christian believers. Near By, there are two churches: one is known to be the place where Jesus fed 5000 of his followers and the other one is known to be the spot where Jesus called Peter to be an apostle.
