Moving south to Mexico should take you to Cancun which is yet another rather dreamy holiday destination. You shall find several beaches for you to choose from in the area and some of them do require you to travel by boat as they can be quite inaccessible from the mainland due to being on islands in the lagoon but at least they do tend to be quieter.
If you then go to Australia you shall come across Bondi Beach in Sydney which is perhaps the most well known in the country. However, if you are more of the surfer type then you should consider moving to Queensland and to the Gold Coast where you shall find the area known as Surfers Paradise.
If you then move back to the United States you should have several to choose from with South Beach in Florida and then Malibu in California perhaps being the most famous. They both have several to choose from but you do have a lot of space and they are very good for the family to go to.
