The Asian Culture: The Culture Of Success

By Jayde Johanssen

The continent Asia is the biggest continent in area and the most in population. It is also one of the most developed continents in science, knowledge and highly sophisticated technologies. This advance would not exist if it was not for the great philosophy of the Asian culture assuring Man is first priority.

It's not quite surprising that the continent of Asia has established the world's manufacturing foundation for all kind of simple products. It also advanced machines and complex technological items as well. And it includes automobiles, computers, mechanical parts, in-home tools, construction equipment, ships, revived and atomic energy.

The most things to praise are the great attention and the noticeable investment on the human element. For that reason, Asian universities are world class educational entities. Many universities in Asia are rated among the best 200 universities world wide. For instance, universities of Tokyo, Peking, Singapore, Tsing Hua, Shanghai Jiaotong, Malaya and Hong Kong plus institutes of Technology in Madras and in Bombay as well as Institute Teknologi Bandung, all of them are among the best 200 universities taking in consideration the quality of education, research foundation, employment and achievements made.

When we look further at Asia, we will see many countries are developing quite fast along with China and Japan. Universally, the Chinese are the second largest economy on earth and is heading to the top in the few next decades. The third largest economy is Japan after china took its second place in 2010 as stated in the list of International Monetary Fund.

India has surprised the whole world. They are now the 11th biggest economy and heading to the top ten in the upcoming years. While India is summed as a developing country, it is one of the largest producers of Computer Software and advanced IT technologies.

Another great Asian country to take an example from is South Korea. Despite its small area, Koreans have a great ambition that they have become the 15th biggest economy on the world. The country has top notch educational facilities and a tourist attractions as well as a huge industrial capability

The world should understand the lesson from Asia. Investing on human force is more valuable and wiser than treating materials, land and other resources as the highest priority at the expense of man. Thus, the planet and life will be healthier and a safer place to live in.
