Fun In The Sun Of The Gold Coast

When you visit the Gold Coast region of Australia there are 35 beaches that you can choose to spend the day on. With 70km of shore, you are sure to find the perfect beach for you to spend the majority of your vacation time on. You can ask everyone you pass which beach they would recommend and you will get a different answer almost all of the time.

With fun in the sun as the primary activity in this area is easy to see how the name Surfer's Paradise fit this region well. A region with so many beaches that you can actually find yourself alone walking on the shore, making it a unique getaway for all who visit.

Many of the beaches are open on an annual basis, and therefore patrolled year round. You can also enjoy a burger at one of the cafes or BBQ at one of the picnic area that are located on the majority of the Gold Coast beaches.

One of the most visited beaches in the area is Surfers Paradise. It offers the best scenic views, as well as fabulous surfing and swimming. Enjoy the water, walk along the shore or spend the day in water. It is the most famous beach in the area, especially among the tourists.

Main Beach offers a good surf, changing rooms and showers with beautiful white sand beaches and beach side parks it is a nice place to come and spend the day. Northcliffe Beach is located between Surfer's and Main and offers a bit quieter atmosphere allowing for a more peaceful respite in the sun.

Broadbeach experiences a large amount of visitors in the summer months, however during the off season this is one of the best beaches for you to visit. If you are looking for a beach that the whole family can enjoy then you will want to head out to Tallebudgera Beach. This beach offers calmer waters and is constantly patrolled creating a safe environment where the parents can relax and watch their children enjoy the day.
