Checking Out Budget Friendly Blackpool Hotels?

By Michael Jarvis

Whatever your reason for on the look-out for cheap Blackpool accommodation, we will help you find the lowest prices offered. Blackpool offers a enormous variety of hotel. This means that choosing can be quite somewhat staggering. It has been worked out that there are 3,000 hotel and B&B establishments around Blackpool.

Of course, a lot is based on what "cheap" means to you. There are holidaymakers who will look on a room for two at under 60 as very cheap, but others will object to paying more than 20-25 a day. The saying "you get what you pay for" is never more true than when it comes to hotel accommodation. My advice is that you aim to spend up to 35 for a double-bedded room in a budget Blackpool hotel, around 20 for a single bed. This should include a cooked breakfast.

The basic standard of a decent bed room whether it be in Blackpool, Brixton or Bratislava, is that it must be clean and reasonably well appointed. The price you pay for your hotel room should not have any influence on this. The affordable hotel bedroom in Blackpool should be as clean as the most costly. Maybe the facilities may not be quite as wondrous but it should be cleaned to the same exacting standard.

A large number of the lower priced Blackpool rooming houses are actually guesthouses and bed and breakfast establishments. These are very often family run, and usually have ten rooms or less. The perks of this class of accommodation is that they tend to be less impersonal than larger hotels. If something does go amiss, I've found it's usually put right prompt.

By staying away from Blackpool's popular heart, you can get less expensive rooms. As you can imagine, a room looking out over a row of houses will be better value than a sea-view on the Prom. Nowadays you can often get a lovely boutique hotel by staying clear of Blackpool town centre. Thanks to Blackpool's great public transport system, getting back into the centre isn't a problem.

Chain hotels that are now common on every motorway in Britain provide cheap, good quality places to stay. The leaders in motorway hotels are Days Inn, Premier Inn and Travelodge. Don't expect to find rooms in these chains in Blackpool for anything like 29. Both Premier Inn and Travelodge have establishments in Blackpool, but here prices start at just under 70.

I'd like to wish you all the very best booking the Blackpool hotel for you. To get the best bargains, you have to be flexible. If you are able to move around your dates and where you stay, you're halfway there. To get the best prices you must avoid peak months like August or give up any idea of seeing the sea. But be flexible on one or more of your demands and you'll stand a much better chance. Blackpool is a great party destination - enjoy it.
