I Took a Short Break to Nepal and Slept in a large Cabin Bed

By Penny Bennett

Certainly one of the areas in the world that every single person, who desires to encounter paradise on earth ought to check out for a vacation is Nepal. I found this when I lately took a well deserved holiday b to this country, that is at high altitude well above the foothills of, the world's highest and most filmed mountain, Mt. Everest. Furthermore, the country covers only a little part of the area, I was amazed at the many attractions, which can be enjoyed by locals too as tourists coming here. These attractions range from the exotic culture from the native people today, as well as the natural beauty that this country presents.

During my stay in Nepal, I realized that Nepal is more than cheap narcotics, that it has been associated with for years. There are a number of festivals that are held to celebrate culture, such as the Bisket Jatra and Kumari Jatra. Moreover, the kind of hospitality that I experienced in Nepal is second to none as the Nepalese are very warm hearted and welcoming. This is partly because they equate guests to their gods.

While a lot of visitors are attracted by the exotic customs that happen to be expressed by way of religious, historical and cultural monuments for example temples, that happen to be as old as the the start of the last millenium, most tourists get pleasure from trekking. I even went on a journey along the different trade routes, that were once used by the tribes that lived in the area that went to lower foothills and plains, selling the pottery they had made. Apart from the old tracks and roads, you will find newer trade routes that are aimed at making the passage easier to make.

Apart from trekking, tourists are also attracted by the beauty of Nepal that's evident in the hills, forests and woods, exotic fauna and floras they all certainly leave tourists wanting to see more. Moreover the Nepalese also lead an extremely intriguing life with most of them living in straw thatched mud houses. This sort of backward lifestyles adds towards the beauty of Nepal in a good way. Other attractions that draw tourists to Nepal, contain a three day hike, trips to Tibet and scenic flights around the mountain that are done from the world's highest fall. Moreover, you also have the selection of going for primitive bus rides, eating at the highest cafe in the world or swimming in cold rivers within the white waters. In addition, you may also appreciate an elephant ride. In general, Nepal gives much more attractions and activities, than any other tourist destination on the planet would offer. As such, tourists can combine a safari having a walk along the beach.

Nepal offers excellent tourist facilities as the hotels, are well equipped to meet the international tourism standards. An average hotel room in Nepal will often have a wooden cabin bed with cozy bedding, essential because the effect of the mountain range, making the nights cold. You will also find a pine table, a bedside cabinet and a few accessories that complete the room. A majority of the hotels have restaurants that serve various cuisines. Different hotels have different interior design themes. For instance I once ate off a farmhouse table at a restaurant that had a rustic country finish. In summary, my experience in Nepal was one of the best even though short-lived because I had so many attractions and activities at my disposal, which is not usually the case in other tourist destinations.
