North Wales boasts many holiday attractions. Something can be found to suit everyone's tastes. Historic and beautiful, there are many reasons to visit North Wales. Careful planning will ensure you get the most from your time there.

The economy here is geared towards tourism. A wide variety of entertainment can be found here. Every experience will be unique, but all of them enjoyable in their own way. This area provides many different choices for holiday entertainment.

This area sports a great choice in island exploration, beach activities, and mountain experiences. There are wonderful views throughout Snowdonia, and the opportunity to go hiking or climbing. Waterfalls cascade gracefully down the hillsides, none more beautiful than Swallow Falls at Betws-y-Coed. The Isle of Anglesey lies just over the Menai Straits with a charm all of its own. Traditional seaside entertainment abounds throughout the coastal region.

Accommodation throughout the region comes in all styles and prices. From the humble guest house to the elaborate hotel, something is available to suite everyone. Traditional bed and breakfasts are in most areas, some even catering for the family dog, too. Camping is also a cost effective option. It is even possible to stay overnight in a historic castle.

Tourism draws many people to the castles here. The 'iron ring' of castles dominates the region, and many of these can be visited by the public. Caernarfon, Flint, and Harlech Castles are possibly the most well known. Many lesser known castles and castle ruins are also worth a visit.
