Seattle's Monumental Monuments

Seattle, Washington is one of the most unique and distinguished cities in the U. S.. With all kinds of amenities,, visitor attractions and opportunities, the city of Seattle has lots to offer to many of us. The community of Seattle is one of the preferred tourist destinations and is also among the best places to live. Like plenty of other cities, Seattle has many tourist attractions and landmarks that appeal to visitors. One of the most interesting landmarks in the town are the monuments in Seattle. The monuments in Seattle offer interesting information for travelers when they're in Seattle. The various Seattle monuments encourage visitors to remember a particularly big impression of the city of Seattle.

Smith Tower Observation Deck

This monument is found on Second Avenue and was erected in 1914. Smith Tower is more popularly known as Seattle's favorite building among both residents and visitors. With the Smith Tower people will be able to get great views of Seattle's waterfront, mountain and downtown areas. One of the clear features of the Smith Tower is that it's one of the planet's tallest buildings and the tallest building in the United States outside of New York City. Going to the Smith Tower is well worth the trip.

The Space Needle

This is undoubtedly one of the planet's most noted and distinguished monuments. It is found on Broad Street and was built in 1962 for the World Fair. This monument is amongst the most unique and appealing worldwide. Folk can take a lift when entering the monument and go up to 525 feet in only 41 seconds. After they get to the top they will be ready to get to the observer's platform and see for many miles. The views offered to tourists are the Pudget Sound, Lake Union, Elliot Bay and the entire downtown of Seattle. With the Space Needle, visitors who enter the structure are able to use complimentary Swarovski Telescopes that provide magnified views of the city and its natural surroundings. This monument also has a restaurant named Sky City and a section that shows historically significant facts about the city of Seattle.

Boeing Factory

This monument is the headquarters and production center for the famous Boeing Airplanes Co. When visiting the factory people are able to go on tours and view the 747, 767, and 777 Boeing airplanes at their various steps in production. The building is one of the largest on the planet. With the Boeing factory, folk will be satisfied to have an inside look in to one of the interesting monuments in Seattle.

Visiting Seattle is always a very enjoyable experience for many folks. The city of Seattle offers many things worth doing and destinations to experience. One of the greatest sorts of places to see in Seatttle are the monuments. The monuments offer visitors a great opportunity to see some of the most well known monuments in not just the US, but in the world.
