Plush Unicorn The Play Time Assistant

By Jennie Sandoval

We all remember those memories that were made when we played. We loved the thought of the dreams that came true and our friend the plush unicorn that transformed our worlds into magical castles. Truth of life is that we all need to have the courage to reach our dreams thus fulfill our full potential.

Childhood is an important time because we develop into the people that grow up to live in the world. We might have some fears but we remember the time when nothing was impossible. When hurt and pain were just things we got from a scrapped knee. Granted this might be the type of childhood that everyone might have, but the we do know that is the majority of our experience.

Stories are a way that we can materialize our dreams and make then come true. Childhood is a time when there are no major cares, just the best times of play and scrapped knees. However, you need to stimulate the imagination and that needs to come from reading.

Reading is the one way that you can improve your children's mental capabilities, it is the true way for you to activate their brain cells. It also makes it easier for them to learn new things with ease because their minds have been activated. Sure there are other things that they can learn on their own, but reading is the one pastime you should always try to share with them.

You have to do your best to encourage your children to have as many friends as possible. These are the companions who help when creative play is required. They provide all the assistance needed in aiding your child to get the confidence they need. As you know in order to succeed in the world you need to have a can do attitude otherwise you will have people trampling all over you.

No parent wants to feel that they are unable to be the best they can be. Even a natural thing like parenthood is very competitive because we are told what we should and should not do to raise the perfect children. Should we feel like we are failing in this, then we become very upset and this can have an impact our relationships with our children. Saying no is not a sign of neglect.

We are not islands and so we should not act in that manner. Just because your child is shy does not mean that you have accept this, you need to make sure they come out of their shells. Confidence is something that you have to foster so that they are very happy with their lives and can see potential in even the smallest of ideas. They will then grow up to be more resilient human beings.

You should always treat your children the way you would like to be treated. These are values that the plush unicorn cannot instill, but you can let your children see it through the way you treated them. Work with them so they know that the world is there to be had and shared with others.
