High Quality Wenzel Tents Reviews

By Sebastian Cork

Wenzel tents are rapidly becoming one of the most preferred tents in the world today. They are the practical and economical versions of shelters for families who like to go out camping and having fun in the outdoors. Today, opting for this affordable but reliable brand has become a must because you can actually enjoy and ensure you've got something equally durable and reliable to more expensive tents while avoiding spending too much for it.

Founded by Herman Wenzel, the Wenzel tents company has been rapidly expanding its name and reputation around the world. The humble beginnings started when Herman emigrated from his native country Germany to the United States. He first domiciled in Massachusetts and later moved to St. Louis in Missouri. This is where he established and began the business of constructing and designing wagon covers and tarps, after which, he eventually built a store to provide a show of his collection and creations.

Today, Wenzel tents have become an emerging family business leading the way in tent building and designing. But what really separates them from the rest of the other brands of tents out there is the remarkably low price. To date, the company is responsible for manufacturing and producing fifteen varieties of tents. However, this review will be focusing on three of the bestsellers.

Cedarbrook - Classified as a dome tent, the Cedarbrook is a small variety that measures 12 x 7 feet. The space inside is divided into two separate rooms using a curtain. It is best used for small camping trips involving four people at most. Cedarbrook may be smaller than its counterparts but it is the easiest to assemble and set up and the lightest to carry. The tent is generally made from polyester which is coated in polyurethane. The ventilation system inside is sufficient enough to provide a cool and comfortable atmosphere.

Other notable features found in the Cedarbrook model are the double D doors, water repellent threads, rain shingle layer, zippers, and webbings. Best of all though, it is designed to be conveniently assembled and set-up, thanks to the ping and ring system and fiberglass frame.

Titan - The next tent in line is the Titan. As the name implies, it is a bigger and larger counterpart to that of the Cedarbrook. With a measurement of 18 x 16 feet, a lot of families have come to love this tent not only for the space, but for many other reasons. This tent provides three rooms inside divided by curtains. It also has a screen porch, which is not really found in other tents. Since the Titan is built for large camping events, it can accommodate eight people all at once. In order to reinforce a crowd inside, there is an excellent updraft ventilation system for secured airflow.

Beartooth - Finally, there's the Beartooth Wenzel tent variety. It is smaller than the Titan but slightly larger than the Cedarbrook. Housing five people, it has a pretty good space inside with a dimension of 14 x 10 feet. Just like its sister tent the Titan; it also contains an updraft ventilation system including a ping and ring system, the purpose of which of course is to provide fast and convenient assembly. The Beartooth is likewise ideal for family camping trips because the space inside is big enough for resting and accommodating people and camping items.

Now all of those mentioned Wenzel tents are good choices. There's not one that's expensive since all of them are made to be affordable. However, keep mind that the quality you get from expensive and higher end tents is still there so you don't have to worry about the weather outside when camping.
