What Makes A Good Hotel

By Joseph Tranturder

There are few things more frustrating while on a vacation than having to deal with a hotel that is dirty, too expensive, or staffed with unhelpful people. Your trip away from home is supposed to help you relax and enjoy yourself, which can end up being impossible with a poor choice of hotel.

Do something creative. Whether it be painting ceramics, sidewalk chalking, or couples art classes, doing something creative on a date lets you and your partner have fun while creating something unique, and getting to know each other better.

Are you going to be living in a dungeon over night? On the other side of things, if the price is high, why is it so high? Does the hotel have all the features you are looking for and it's all included? Some hotels might include things such as free breakfast in the price of the daily amount so make sure you consider all of that into the price.

Keep in mind that price does not always equate to quality. There are some hotels that tend to overcharge their guests during their stay, and there are also luxurious hotels, like the Zero Degrees Hotel in Stamford, that offer wonderful amenities for an extremely reasonable price.

If for example you have a business trip in Stamford Connecticut, you will probably want to be in the heart of the Stamford business area. Location is so important and knowing where you want to spend your time is quintessential to choosing the right hotel for you.

Do something romantic. Sometimes you need a getaway even when you can't get away. Try having dinner at a hotel, like Hotel Zero Degrees. Sometimes hotels offer dinner and stay packages that are fun, romantic, and almost completely planned for you.

A One star hotel is more for those on a budget. The quality may not be as memorable but it will fit much nicer into a budget. Knowing what quality you are looking for and expecting can help you have a much better experience with your hotel.

Do something outside. We live in such a beautiful world, chock full of ready-made romantic settings. Take a hike, go canoeing, or play at the beach, but whatever you do, have fun in the beautiful world right at your feet! Finish it off with dinner or a night's stay in Stamford's best hotel, or a romantic evening at home.

Choosing the right hotel does take some work. However, it is always a better alternative to arriving at your dream destination and realizing that your hotel is not good enough to suit your needs. So take a couple of minutes to figure out what kind of hotel is best for you before you book your stay.
