Yacht Jongert 3200P: Project 1113 is the first model in Jongert's new high-performance 3200P line. British firm Rhoades Young Design has created the yachts exterior and interior, while Doug Peterson and Mulder Design are responsible for her naval architecture and engineering respectively. There are a number of innovations and impressive amenities incorporated into her 104' (32m) length.
Yacht Columbus Sport Hybrid 40m: Just prior to going to press, we met with Antonio Romano of Hot Lab who provided these very latest renderings exclusively to INVICTVS. The conceptual drawings show an elegant contemporary design, with a depth of texture provided through extensive use of natural materials. Marbles such as Breccia Sarda and Adria Venato are matched with eucalyptus, Tay wood and a dark oak for the interior floors. These are warmed with luxurious brightly colored leather, soft wool carpets and polished stainless steel.
Yacht Jongert 3200P: Forward, directly aft of the salon doors, there is additional seating if guests want a break from the 'action', the interior layout is available in three variations. The first features a large saloon, a master stateroom and two guest suites, while the second layout has a smaller saloon and a third guest cabin. The third provides for four guest cabins. A second salon, adjacent to the galley, is also located below decks. The Doug Peterson hull design adds speed and stability to her sleek style and pedigree.
Yacht Dubois 101m Sloop: In the bow, the yacht's 22 crewmembers will be accommodated in 18 en-suite cabins. An impressive main salon will be located on the main deck, with the superstructure sporting a fetching hardtop. Although a shipyard had not yet been selected at the time of writing, construction was due to begin the second quarter of 2013. Dubois has indicated construction will take approximately two and a half years once a build contract is signed.
Yacht ISA's 41m Classic series: Currently enjoying a busy production schedule, the International Shipyard of Ancona (ISA) has a number of yachts currently under construction at the yard. Amongst the most eagerly anticipated is the first in ISA's 41m Classic series, with a full displacement steel hull topped with a lightweight aluminum superstructure. The 41m carries the purity of line and styling of this eponymous series, and is unmistakably the younger sibling of her larger sibling, ISA's 50m Classic launched in 2011.
Yacht ISA's 41m Classic series: Models in ISA's Classic range run from the 41m, through 50m, 60m and 63m, right up to a 74m design, with each exhibiting generous volumes. Indeed the 41m specifications show an estimated gross tonnage of 355 GT, which will serve her well in a competitive sector of the market. ISA's own team studied the naval architecture and interior design for the 41m Classic in-house, while the exterior styling was contributed from the Rome-based studio of Andrea Vallicelli.
Yacht Miss Tor 40m Schooner The views over the yacht's wake from here are sure to be impressive. A large bathing platform completes the yacht's amenities, and her designers appear to have left room in the tall transom for a tender garage that could double up as a beach club, although this has not been confirmed by the Orucoglu Shipyard. With several decades experience building leisure yachts, Miss Tor is the brand name under which the yard, part of Orucoglu Holding one of the well-known leading groups of Turkey, produces their yachts.
Yacht Dubois 101m Sloop: Despite a displacement of 2,000-tonnes, she will draw just 13' (4m) with her keel retracted. For blue water cruising, her keel will increase her draft to almost 40' (12.8m), providing additional stability beneath her 410' (125m) mast. To put the height of this vessel's mast in perspective, the Statue of Liberty's torch is 305' (93m) high, while the famous Big Ben clock tower in London stands 315 (96.3m) tall. If that doesn't impress you, consider this: Dubois' 331' (101m) sloop will feature a 137' (42m) mainsail boom - that's longer than the total length of most sailing super yachts.
