There are most certainly no shortage of things to do in Glenwood Springs CO. In fact, the city has been voted as the most fun place in the United States. In 2010 USA Today declared this the place most likely to satisfy all visitor expectations. It is an amazing feat, considering that there are only slightly more than nine and a half thousand people living there.

Hanging Lake is one of the main attractions of this area. Apart from the spectacular natural hanging gardens the area offers astounding views and many pleasant hiking trails. Another popular site is the hot spring pools. These are the largest in the world. Giant slides, swings that catapult passengers over the canyon and the longest roller coaster ride in the Unites States, to mention just a few, are all awaiting eager thrill seekers. The caves themselves are astounding.

Of course, it would be neglectful to forego a visit to the White River National Forest. There are many excellent camping sites and it is possible to hike, go on mountain bike trails, hunt and fish. If hunting and fishing is not the desired activity, perhaps horseback riding and hiking will provide the thrills of watching an abundance of wild life and some of the most beautiful scenery to be seen anywhere in the world.

Hikers and nature lovers will be in the seventh heaven. There are numerous fabulous trails to explore and the wildlife and plant life abound. There are shorter hikes for those that have limited time but there are also longer hikes for the adventurous that want to become one with the natural beauty of the area. For those that is left cold by natural beauty and adventure there are many unique shopping experiences, art galleries and cultural activities. One of the main attractions happens to be the Vaudeville Revue Comedy. They have been going for years and they have enjoyed rave reviews far and wide. Their slapstick and comedy performances in pub environments are legendary.
