Show Your Love of the Past with Pyramid Checks

By Alan Plastin

Are you enchanted by the spectacular site of the ancient pyramids? Do the Mayans and the Egyptians hold intrigue for you? If they do, you can now step back into the ancient past when you use pyramid themed personal checks.

In Egypt alone, there are nearly 140 pyramids. Many of them were built as tombs for the Pharaohs. The Pyramid of Djoser was built between 2630 BCE-2611 BCE and is the oldest of these. Of course, the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza is the biggest. It's also the only Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that is still around. It's estimated that as many as 100,000 people worked on the construction of the pyramids, although their construction still remains a mystery.

So who really built them? How long did it truly take? Do they really hold any special relations to space? It's likely that these questions will never be answered and that's just something else that makes the pyramids even more astounding.

The Egyptians weren't the only ones to build these powerful constructions, of course. In Mesoamerica, additional groups were also at work on these towering triangular structures.

Archeological evidence has shown that they Mayans began construction on their pyramids around 3,000 years ago. Although some of these were simple burial monuments, others were large pyramids that contained a stair-step design on their sides. Unlike the Egyptian pyramids, some of these had smaller buildings at the top, rather than coming to a point. Like the Egyptian pyramids, however, these also worked as burials grounds for the rulers.

The biggest Mayan temple is the La Danta temple in El Mirador. It soars to more than 250 ft. high and has a volume of 2,800,000 cubic meters. Consequently, it's also one of the largest pyramids in the world.

If you're captivated by the pyramids of the world then you'll almost certainly love the pyramid themed personal checks. You'll be bound to find something that you like with series that feature either the Mayan or the Egyptian pyramids. Most of these have rotating images, as well, so every check you write will be different from the previous one.

To make your pyramid check collection even more complete, you might also like the coordinating accessories that match your new checks. These coordinating checkbook covers and address labels look great and are handy, too, which can make ordering them even more tempting.

If you found that traveling to your local bank in the past was inconvenient then you'll love the fact that now you can not only order your checks from home, but save money in the process. When you order your checks from a reputable website you can save as much as 50% off the cost of your new checks.

Plus, you'll have tons of designs to choose from. You won't have to worry about settling for personal checks that you're not even interested in. Aren't you ready to make your checks more interesting?
