Life At Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive Family Resorts

By Paulette Mason

When traveling in Mexico, individuals have a number of options when it comes to lodging. From locally owned drive in motor lodges, motels and hotels to casinos, chains and resorts, there literally is something for everyone. One option is to stay at one of the many Puerto Vallarta all inclusive family resorts.

Most all inclusive resorts offer unlimited on-site amenities, food, drink and entertainment for children and adults. Alcohol may or may not be provided based on resort, theme and location. Some resorts also offer casinos though the cost of gaming is rarely covered as part of a stay. For those who gamble, it can often be a great way to pass the time between other scheduled events.

Smoking and non-smoking rooms and rules are going to vary by location and resort. When there are specific requirements as to smoking or non-smoking rooms, alcohol or dietary restrictions, it is often good to call ahead and talk to a representative. Once at the resort, it may be too late to make dietary requests as some aspects of certain meals are often planned in advance.

When having specific requests, it can be best to go through a travel agency to assure such needs are met. In many cases, whether all inclusive resort or traditional hotel, dietary needs can be met as long as the request is made in advance. At other times, the individual must understand that such options are not available and plan accordingly.

Tourists and travelers can often save a great deal of money by purchasing travel related coverage. Most importantly however it can provide additional coverage for loss of luggage. Lastly, most often travel insurance also comes with a number of discounts on food, lodging and entertainment. Individuals obtaining this coverage need to carefully read and review all documentation and have a clear understanding of the policy before leaving home.

Sometimes guests decide to go beyond the boundaries of an all inclusive resort while staying in the area. It is important to realize that while the resort may have insurance which cover guests during a stay, this coverage is often not valid when off-site the resort. Whereas, if one were to be injured participating at a resort sponsored entertainment venue, then the individual would most likely be covered for the cost of treatment.

Resorts, all inclusive and otherwise exist in many different regions of the World. Many are focused on specific interests and themes while others are more generic. Most offer a wide variety of options related to casinos, cocktails, dining and entertainment. Some hotels and resorts also offer a wide variety of packages for a single price which offer theme weekends or camp oriented stays.

When it comes to food, drink and entertainment, its hard to beat the value of an all inclusive resort. One reason it is important when planning a stay to make reservations well ahead of time. It is also important travelers understand any and all penalties related to changing or canceling the reservation.
