Deep Rooted London City Breaks

When in Europe make sure you stop by and get London city breaks. It has a lot of famous landmarks that are well known. It also has century's worth of culture that you will love to explore.

By virtue of age, a lot of buildings and monuments have become famous landmarks. Age aside, the architecture and craftsmanship is very detailed; you will want to get clear shots of these pieces in your camera.

You can have your picture taken with the Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster. You can also find the Parliament here with its impressive stature and wide faade. Buckingham Palace is open to visitors at times so be sure you check the schedule before visiting. The staterooms are open during August and September. You will find many priceless paintings and pieces of art form may sculptors and masters of the old days. Watch out for the Changing Guard, this event is also popular.

You can also travel to the Tower of London. This is a fortress, a palace and a prison, marking the event s of London's eventful history. The defensive towers and walls are no joke. It also has a moat around it, providing security to its previous residents. This was once the home of William the Conqueror. Many high profile executions have been performed in its walls.

St. Paul's Cathedral is one church you can visit and pay your respects as you go round the city. It took 35 year to rebuild this church since the Great Fire of London. It is a very magnificent structure, splendidly constructed from floor to ceiling.

You do not want to miss the London Eye located in the River Thames which can give you one of the best views of London. Stop by the Millennium Dome and explore a lot of shops, exhibits and live entertainment venues. You can also start shopping in here.
